Great playing, but i'm afraid in terms of "theory" or "undeveloped concepts" you didn't reach for anything new here... this concepts are far remote broadly used among musicians in underground music (say jazz, rock, folk, etc.) in my country, Argentina.
If you're a song writer I highly recommend watching these lessons. You don't even have to play these musical styles and that's what makes this so great. If you 're into classic rock take an AC/DC type guitar riff and put it over a John bonham drum grove. If you're into metal take a Meshuggah drum grove and put Dillinger Escape Plan guitars over it. If you like dream pop take a Circa Survive guitar riff and put it over a Dredg bass groove. Take your favorite styles and interchange the elements.

You can never teach someone how to compose...If you start teaching composition, all compositions will be alike.
