  • I remember half my life ago when this footage played on CNN...I bawled my eyes out. At funerals you hear a lot of good things about the person who died...but Rachel was really truly an angel. RIP.

  • tomorrow is my 14th birthday but it is also Rachel's 30th. RIP Rachel.<3

  • For the people talking about gun control. We don't need stricter laws.

We need better enforcement of the laws we already have.

If you start researching this more you will find this goes much deeper than two guys who supposedly went crazy and killed people. Much deeper.

  • She was the first to die that is one reason why there was so much focus on her.

    Also, her journals and drawings.

  • @MrCrazyh.. Rachel's life was not waisted, because of her death she has reached millions of people and kids across the world that want to better themselves..

  • She's adorable!

    RIP-Rachael

  • something about this video and the music makes me want to cry.

And the reason why so much attention is focused on Rachel was because her family did all this - the books, the funeral on TV, the organization, etc. The other victims' families chose not to make such a huge deal out of it, and that's their decision.

  • she was too good for this earth... now she is with her Lord :'( <3

we miss u Rachel Joy Scott <3

Continue NA paz do senhor! AMÉM

  • I miss Rachel so much. I can't wait to see her in Heaven! She will be gone for 12 years this month. RIP

  • "I will not be labelled as average"

    - Rachel Scott.

  • demm boysz dhat shot her nd other ppl in dhat school r in hell nd dhat is crazyyy

  • Because she was the first to die during the shooting at columbine... she also had during her life always said that she knew she would die young... there was also a photograph she drew with eyes crying and water a flower then turning to 13 drops of blood and there was 13 kids 12 students and 1 teacher killed during columbine... you should see Rachels Challenge its a really moving and powerfull assembly i had at my school...

  • r.i.p. Rachel Scott.... she stod up for god and others... shes in a better place.... its so amazing how she knew one day that she would touch the lives of many people and how she predicted she was gonna die at a young age. its amazing how the lord works through people.

  • because Rachel was a Very nice christian girl, she was the first one killed and she very famouse for her kindness!

  • Im so glad there are sites to focus on the lesser known heroes of Columbine, like Rachel. You almost never hear about her as a victim of the massacre. RIP RACHEL AND THE OTHER KIDS! I think one of them was named Dave? Dan? Don something with a D but RIP YOU ARENT FORGOTTEN!

  • is the second song "now and forever" by madonna? i know it was in 'a league of their own' but i can't tell who's singing.

  • this girl is so beautiful and god bless and rest her soul RIP Rachael darling :'( ^_^

  • RIP to Rachel and everyone else lost that day.

    p.s. I have posted a columbine memorial video that I made--please watch! :)

  • @saugagirl83 where???

  • Please don't think I'm trying to be disrespectful because I'm NOT, but I don't think it's fair that so much attention is focused on Rachel. Don't get me wrong; her death was a tragedy and I think this video is a beautiful tribute, but she was'nt the only person who died that day. I think that everyone who lost their lives that day were equally important and deserve to be remembered equally. RIP to ALL of the victims of the Columbine shooting and may they all be remembered forever.

  • @saugagirl83 I agreed but, she was not just killed at random like the other students. Dylan really hated her and seeked her out.

  • @saugagirl83 I agreed but, she was not just killed at random like the other students. Dylan really hated her and seeked her out.

  • @kroat45 I never knew that. I knew she was the first one who was shot but I did'nt know she was one of the people they specifically went after. I don't know if you've seen it but there's an episode of Intervention that featured one of the Columbine survivors. I don't remember what his addiction was (possibly cocaine or heroin), but his name was on the list of people the shooters were after. I don't remember if he ended up getting shot though.

  • @kroat45 why did he hate HER so much?

  • @kroat45 why was that????

  • @kroat45, now know that it was Eric that wanted to put his gun to her head and blow it. So I think since he was the one shooting her, it had to be him that was filled up with more hate and dislike towards her.

  • @saugagirl83 its focusing on her because it was the video shown at HER funeral

  • @frogdtx I know that; I just meant that in general you tend to her more about her than the others, and that they should all be remembered. As I said in my previous post, no disrespect was intended. Rachel seemed like a very nice girl and I'm glad that she is being remembered; I'm sure she did alot of great things in her life. I did, however, make a memorial video to all of the victims of the shooting--I posted it as a video response if you would like to watch it. :)

  • @saugagirl83 Its HER funeral video Nimrod. Yes the whole thing is a tragedy, but shouldn't she be allowed to have her own funeral video? Disrespectful.

  • @saugagirl83 Yes but this video doesn't show the amazing thing that happened right before her death... and if you believe in god you will believe this - Exactly a week before Rachels death, a man who lived very far away called Rachels dad, and he said he dreamed of Rachel crying, and her tears falling into the ground making something grow and asked if it meant anything to him and her dad said no. After Rachel died, her dad wanted to see her last written words, witch was a drawing of2 eyes crying

This didn't mean anything to her dad so he hung up. After her death her dad wanted to see Rachels last words, witch was a picture of a pair of eyes crying, 13 tears[numberofdeaths] and a flower growing

  • @saugagirl83 I understand what you mean. I went through Columbine myself and it's difficult to just focus on one or two particular victims when we lost so many. Even Eric and Dylan themselves, despite what they did...they are dead and therefore victims themselves. But I miss each and every single one of them.

  • @saugagirl83 thats true i thinkthe only reason they picked rachel is beacsue she showed kindness and all that good stuff!

  • @saugagirl83 You obviously dont understand the point of this story...

  • @saugagirl83 they are ALL great but i mean she was REALLY nice

  • Last night I had the honor of having dinner with Mr. & Mrs. Scott. After dinner we went to a concert for Haiti and Mr. Scott shared Rachael's story at the concert.

  • @tomyom3 So awesome you got that opportunity!!! I would love to shake the hands and hug the necks of the Scotts'!! I was in high school during the shootings and it really affected the entire community... I'm so happy you got a chance to hear her story! Good 4 U, my friend!

  • wharfrat44 rachel was shot because she believed in god she lived after the first shot then they came back asked her of she still believed in god she said yes then they said so go be with him and shot her and killed her

  • It's a sad thing that 'innocent' people have to die in war, but that is simply how its meant to be...it seems

  • R.I.P. Rachel Joy Scott I wish the world today could take what you stood for to heart and embrace and look for the best in everyone. You are truly missed

  • i dont mean to sound ignorant or anything but what exactly happened to Rachel?like what made her so special from the other kids who died?

  • Another Martyr. God Bless her family.

  • does anyone know who sings this version of now and forever?

  • Very Beautiful and Touching funeral tribute! :-)

  • there is a movie about rachell being made soon It is called AMAZING GRACE! check it ouT! there is stuff about it on my channell

  • Rachel's story changed my life and still is changing the world.because it will be passed on to any teen i can share it with. i am reading one of her books now as well i may not be the same woman i am today if she had not died that day.

  • She was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  • Or perhaps not... ;-)

  • May you rest in peace rachel...

  • R.I.P Rachel Joy Scott... Hope you live a better 2nd live..... T.T

  • Rest in peace Rachel, you touched all of our hearts and we love you!

  • R.I.P Rachel

  • I heard that Rachel Scott was a Christian and she was killed for her faith.

    I don't think she's "resting in peace", I think she's "walking in Heaven". ;)

  • Agreed! :-)

  • @towelkit465 I thought the blond girl was asked if she believed in god, and she said yes and was shot?? :( : ( :( there's a book about her, I can't remember name but the book was written by her mom, and titled, she said yes.

  • @WharfRat44

Both girls were asked and said yes, and both girls parents wrote books about their daughters and the lives they lived before the shooting happened.

  • @WharfRat44 thats cassie bernall that your thinking of but there are many stories saying she wasnt the one who was asked if she believed in god...

  • @WharfRat44 Her name was Cassie Bernall

  • @WharfRat44

    Her name was Cassie.

  • im pretty sure it was Cassie and her last name was something with a B. im reading all of Rachel's books and She Said Yes is the next one im going to find even though its not about Rachel

  • @WharfRat44 Cassie Bernall

  • Rachel's brother came and spoke to our highschool yesterday. It was about Rachel's challenge. If you have time look it up. Her brothers speech was amazing and inspiring. R.I.P Rachel Joy Scott

  • Rachel Joy Scott,

i may be only 12, but i have done alot of research about the columbine shooting, i have been bullied, and it would make my day if you were alive and came to help me. Those boys who shot you had no reason too, Rachel Scott Joy, is your identity, not theirs to ruin. I hope you RIP.

  • so sad,, i was crying:(((((

  • From reading about this girl I believe she would have done extraordinary things in her life. Bless her and May she rest in peace.

  • She already did many extraorninary things during her short life. Small acts of kindness is often the greatest things done. :-)

  • how can someone kill, what sick fucks. rot in hell.

R.I.P Rachel Joy Scott. and all the victims.

  • This is heartwrenching! What's the music played at 8:22 to the end? It's so sad!

  • That is sooooo heartbreaking, I couldn't imagine losing a child at the hands of murder like the Scott family did. She was a beautiful girl.

  • Track:Just one of those things

    Artist: Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis

    Album: The Heavy Hitter

  • rest in peace, rachel...

even though we don't know you,

    we love & respect you...

    you touched so many lives....

  • RIP Rachel joy scott

  • R.I.P Rachel Joy Scott

  • So sad. May she rest in peace.

  • Man, I don't consider myself the emotional type. But this vid could make satan tear up.

  • can someone explain why this video focuses on ONE out of 13 OTHER STUDENTS?!

  • this video focuses only on Rachel because this was the video shown at her funeral.

  • oh right now I understand. Thanks :)

  • @RMaryJ29 not just that but she held a really awesome testimony.....one worth listening to. I read the book written about her 'Rachel's tears" before I was saved and back then I had no idea about being born again. But her story helped me gain that knowledge. Many good things have come from her death. Praise God!

  • because watch her other videos she said that she was going to die young and she drew on the bac of her dresser a trace of her hands when she was thirteen and said these are my hands one day ill be gone but these hands will touch millions of people and they did its call the rachels challange look it up its so sad and she had her jornal on her when she died ........

  • That's sad but she was christian and God works miracles.

  • yea, her uncle came to my school a couple years ago, it was really sad, he said she said she knew she was going to die young. and that she drew pictures and stuff that were all like related to the shooting before it even happend. like a picture of eyes crying 13 tears then the turned into blood on this flower. and she drew a picture of her hands on the back of her dresser too, i cant remember what it said though. :(

  • @mekaylasings On the back of the dresser it said "These hands belong to Rachel Joy Scott and will someday touch millions of peoples hearts"

  • d after she died a man called her dad and said iam havian a dream about your daughter afer she idied and it a\was that it was her eyes and her tears were falling down on a rose and the rose blead 13 droops of blood that day 20 min before she died she drew that 13 droops of blood 13 people died that day she was a so great and her journal said on the bac of it she was not a normal and at the end of that sintence there was a bullet hole like a exclamation mark i think she was a mericaal

  • Because it just does.. theres not much to talk about is there? It focuses on scott, end of discussion... retard

  • @londondude119 she's the most remembered because she's the one that started the chain reaction thing that her brother and father run for rachel's challenge.

  • @londondude119 and also she had an amazing story on her goals in life and what she wanted to do for others

  • @londondude119 becuz she was one of the nicest students at that skewl she impacted lives nd touched hearts..& she wuld jst help anybody like she helped a disabled student by defending him nd he said that she literaly saved his life...& all she wanted to do in this world was to show people to be nice to eachother like she said "you never noe how far a little kindness can go" she wanted to change this world! & also bcuz she was the first one who got killed...read the book nd youll understand it..

& also bcuz she was the first one who got killed...read the book nd youll understand it.

  • @londondude119 cuz she was one of the nicest students around skewl! she wuld help anybody who was in need of help..like she helped a disabled student nd he said "she saved my life".& cuz she was the first one who got killed! ..& bcuz she was really really kind.google her or read the books...all she wanted to do in this world was to change people! to let them noe we can all be nice & kind if we try like she said "yooh never noe how far a little kindness can go"..& i accept rachel's challenge(:

  • @londondude119 She was also the first one killed at the shooting. she even predicted she would die at a young age.

  • @londondude119 Because she kept diaries about how the world should be... like she kept journals about how she could change the world and she was a very nice girl who left a legacy.

  • @londondude119 she was also the first one to die at columbine

  • @londondude119 because she is a very special student that has caused a chain reaction and will stay in our heart forever

  • @londondude119 may i also add that she was the first victim to die out of 13 and she had an incredible story. she reached out to others like people with special needs, new kids, and people who were picked on. she was a good person and i didnt personally know her but her story is so inspiring and incredible. who could resist telling it? that is why they focus on rachel out of 12 students and one teacher not 13 total students. shows how much you know.

  • @londondude119 Because she had a challenge, and this was at her funeral.

  • @londondude119 i dont mean to be mean but rachel was the first and its about rachels challenge RACHEL's challenge

  • @londondude119 write up a story and make a video of the other 12 then?!

  • @londondude119 she was the first to die and she had 6 journals explaining how she wanted to world to be. she also made a giant impact on the world.

  • @londondude119 also becuz she is the one who wrote dairies aabout her life and she predicted tht this would happen tht she wouldnt make it. the last thing she drew in her dairy the day she died was eyes crying 13 tears pouring on the ground creating life..tht day 13 people died..before tht day she told her friends tht she knew she would die young

  • Her neighbor/bestfriend came to our school they had to stop the presantation cuz every1 was crying so hard

  • One of the Rachels chalange speakers came to my school today. He realized that a lot of people thought the school R.J.S was killed at was so far it didnt matter. Then he told us that because of the speaker that went to Owego high to talk about her, a killing of 12 kids was stopped. Owego is less than an hour from my school. So i thank Rachel So much for preventing such a tragedy from happening so close to me. R.I.P Rachel

  • R.I.P we will miss you

  • R.I.P FOREVER YOU WILL BE LOVED!! <3 TRULY!! i feel so sorry for the ones who knew her..and gawd she must of been the BESTFRIEND!!

  • these girls brother came to my high school and talked to us
