  • So you just eyeballed the recipe. I know you said that you dont remeber the recipe, but over all what kinda of boiling mixture to oats ratio should we have?

  • So I came home from work STARVING, and decided I should make this. Something went horribly wrong and by the time I tried to "pour" the liquid mixture into the oat, it had become crystallized (?!). Panicked, I put the whole thing back into the pot and boiled the mixture with a little bit of milk. Long story short, I now have six little chocolatey porridge patties. hahaha Not bad, but I probably won't try again. That was scary!

  • LOL!!!

  • i'd love to know how to make rumballs someday! That was gr8

  • What made you a vegan?

  • Well, that's a long story. It would go over the character limit for sure! Maybe I'll tell you the story some time...

  • I, for one, would really like to hear the story!

  • I thought vegans don't drink milk.

  • It's soymilk.

  • I love these

  • Reminds me of Chefs brown salty balls

  • hm..this looks tasty, but I don't understand exactly what the ingredients are. You have written down your first sentences but then stopped for the important part. That's a pity.

  • It's just sugar, oil, milk boiled, then mixed into cocoa and rolled oats (oatmeal). You can also read the script at thedailyenglishshow dot blogspot dot com

  • Thanks for the clarification.

And it's really great that there are scripts to your videos. You do really a great job!

  • ahh... oat... ok :)

  • what goes with the cocoa?

  • could you also make japanese language videos??? that would be nice for japanese learners...

  • OK. I'm going to start soon. I actually made an account: tdesnihongo. But I haven't really started yet...

  • Did they taste the same as the ones you had as a kid?

  • Mmmm pretty much. Although ... they came out different every time when I was a kid because I couldn't be bothered reading the recipe and just threw stuff in a pot. My sister's always tasted better - she was a bit more careful.

  • I guess you didn't love it. ;)
