Just recieved my repro of this classic.

Can't tell if it is the same as the original because I never had one. To me a lot of repros don't have the same motor power as the 60s ones..not built to last, but the tin plate looks perfect.

I've been buying repro robots myself because the originals are so gosh darn expensive! As far as the motors, I don't worry if they aren't as good as the originals because I only display them anyway. Once in a great while I might demonstrate one for a friend or to make a youtube video. Right now I do have one original 60's without the box and not working. I hope to get a couple more originals but mostly the repros.
