Probably my favorite singer ever! And, he and Linda Ronstadt are a SUPERB duet. I lived in New Orleans for 13 years and I must say that being able to see him along with the Neville Brothers live in venues such as Tipitina's was one of the highlights of my years there! I met Aaron last year. I went to see him in concert in Aniston and was staying at his hotel. My husband and I bumped into him in the car park What a lovely person.. He let my husband take a flip video of him with his arm around me. The concert was amazing but meeting him made a memory I will never forget. Lovely voice lovely man

I do not understand all the fawning comments for this rendition of what is meant to be a beautiful song. Neville's voice aside, this performance of Schubert's Ave Maria is atrocious, and an insult to Schubert and to the Latin language. His pronunciation is so terrible, I can hardly make out the words at times, and the production of the piece is incredibly cheesy. This is not how the composer intended it. Please listen to Barbara Bonney or Pavarotti singing it, for a real interpretation.

The best Ave Marie: Riga, Latvia, huddled in the cathedral one week before Christmas just before the wall came down; the Russian tanks in town and the poor Lativians in winter coats shoulder to shoulder in the cold pews...no heat. Out of the choir high above the people, comes this incredible woman singing this song that fills the church with tears yet hope. Aaron would have loved it. The pain was so real.
