I loved the Hey There It's Yogi Bear movie when I first watched it on video years ago before DVDs were invented. The new live action movie could have a story as good as the 1960s movie did.
And it was (& still is) UBER-ULTRA-MEGA *EXCELLENT*-as a musical...up there with "Sound Of Music", "Mary Poppins", & "The Blues Brothers", as a cinema masterpiece, and as an animation tour-de-force!
As an aside, Looney Tunes directors Friz Freleng & Gerry Chiniquy-when Warner Bros fired them & Chuck Jones, Bob McKimson and all the rest from Termite Terrace-served as additional animators for this film, personally invited by Friz's pal Bill Hanna.

This was Yogi's only theatrical film (and Hanna-Barbera's first full-length animated feature), released in June 1964.
