This ad came out shortly before Intellivision was discontinued. Around Matell, game programmers used "We're closed now!" as a catch phrase once they new they were all about to be unemployed.

OMG!!! I remember this one big time; I used to laugh my ass off when this would come on. This was around 1982 or so, a damn near 30 years ago. And, it was the 80's, when everyone had money, because everyone had a job!

The only video game commercials they seem to make these days are ones for the music rhythem games that require a special controller that you need. Dont get me wroung I new video games but they really just dont compare to stuff like burger time, especially if 80% of new video games are music rhythem those games are still fun but theirs just to many

i have this game on the nes.... weren't there like 20 different levels before the game repeated? as a kid in the early 1990's this drove me crazy as i felt games had to have an ending / purpose other than to build up points

Course, you usually expect the phrase "Would you like fries with that" instead of "HELP ME!"
