Your Haunt Insider was my first introduction to Season of Shadows. His web page is a wealth of information and the community is truly losing one of the best. His final Vlog is courageous and selfless. I wish his family peace through all of this. It takes a incredible person to live his life to the end on his own terms. Scott, there was some divine intervention in the circumstances of the events of the last 48 hours.

Wow, I read John`s last blog post and am humbled by his grace and courage. I had followed his vlogs, at least until my old lap top got stolen, then I lost track of him, He did amazing work, like Pumpkinrot in his attention to detail. My thoughts go out to him and his family. Thanks for sharing this.
@DeadThingsYardhaunt It might sound weird, but I'm glad people are finding out about this while he is still alive. Even though John may not be on YouTube or on his website much at all anymore, maybe he will see or hear that a bunch of people he never even knew of really appreciated his work.
Sad to hear how horrible of a way he has to go. I never thought that I would have gotten attached to people that I have never met in person but this just goes to show that the youtube haunt community has become a family in a way since all John's subscribers and those that have followed will all mourn the loss of a fellow haunter.
@BlackFlame516 It seems very rare to come across someone in this community who is genuinely not a nice person. I am very proud to know everyone that I have met through Halloween.
While I never followed seasonofshadow it is very sad and my heart goes out to him and his family. I like the haunt insiders a lot. I must say, I never really had time to watch everyones vlogs, yours never made the daily cut, just here and there. Im changing that now though. Happy haunting.
