Yeah I know what is Ektara..Am a Bengali too..Ektara has 'Ekti Tar' one string only thats why its called Ektara...It looks similar too Banjo..bt doent sound like Banjo..

No it is a special string instruments, used by Bayul(FSinger) ,the name of the intrument is "EKTARA"

@nadinala ; The instrument is not Ektara. This one is a cross between banjo & Do-tara ( Do-tara basically has 4 strings, and it is usually made of wood, strings are mostly nylon) To make the sound clear & audible the cross has been developed
