Maine was critically injured in battle, so he escaped freelancer without the director noticing. Maine taught his AI everything. Including how to live without a body.Thus why shooting the meta never worked.The only thing meta didn't learn was how to move from armor to armor like omega.So meta is stuck at the bottom of the cliff in an empty shell

1. Maine and the Meta are one and the same.

2. Maine only went rogue because Sigma, his AI, suggested that he could make the Alpha from all the other AIs.

3. Meta can't be an AI. He survived the EMP at the end of Reconstruction. All the other AI, save Epsilon, didn't.

4. Maine was always durable, even before the AI implantation. Seriously, check out Ep 17, S9.

5. Meta is not in the Greek alphabet.
