It kills me the way they destroy cars (especially classics like this one) for movies . I built my own in high school back in '77. That car got me in a LOT of trouble.

@67ford1 I belive a 351 Cleveland 2 Barrel carb on the orginal show ! The later spoof most likely had a built 460 ! I had a 76 Torino they were great cars however they handled horrible in the twisties, The brakes were soso at best and had tiney sway bars! O buy the way they had between 150 to 230 HP for a 2 1/2 ton car ! I would rather have a resto mod version myself with modern brakes Wilwood,Hochkins suspension and fat swaybars and a ford motor sports 351 with FEI and a 6 speed !

Lucky for you....I have no problems with the Pony...Mine is a divided house...while I am a GM guy...my granddad was a Ford man...I have to respect him....he had a 76 LTD...and I myself once had a 78 LTD..and I hated seeing the BOTH of them go.
