I saw this in cinema. I doesn't made much sense to me, I love Lynch films, but this movie was too long and weird. ... but pretty scrary.

@michaelgolletz see rabbits, I don't think the film's really worth bothering with (never thought I would say that about a Lynch film)...scenes with the rabbits and the Polish people are great, everything else I just found plain dull...like a far less interesting take on what he'd already done in Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive...

David Lynch released a series of shorts/episodes called "Rabbits." He incorporated scenes from "Rabbits" into the film. You can watch them on Google video.

@finbomartini It's the best bit in inland empire, rest is patchy at best...and too long...I still have only managed to watch two third of the film...I think it would have worked better if it had been shorter and, though creepy and surrealistic like most of Lynch's stuff, focused on the Polish house...the Polish house ion the woods and these segments...so creepy...
