Truly the most unforgettable scene in the entire Tragedies Lyriques genre, in my opinion, this and the following "mad scene" (not included here). So much sympathy for this woman, just tipped over the edge into self-pity and fury in turn, after two emotional assaults in a row (by the scheming Creon and the traitorous Jason).
