I choose to listen to enigma for relaxation. When I need reality, I watch the news. I always know what to expect, at least I usually do. The news doesn't need to say that the content will be graphic, although they often do anyway...
I looove Enigma, but... The pictures completely ruined the message of the song... I don't think it's meant to give off an "emo" or gothic sort of feeling.... not at all.. you should remake the video with better pictures just saying..

Horrible video, the song may be loneliness, but what you have shown it is a dirty and gaudy, rather than the clean but melancholy which is the mood of the song. Don't take this as hate, but an opinion and a tip.

Morbid obsession. You earned my dislike for the image of a child with bloody mouth. I love these artists and I prefer to leave just a bit of my imagination's innocence intact. If there's one thing I can tell people it's to absorb as much info out there as possible like a sponge, and don't come to any momentous conclusions on the truth of things until you have a large "database" built up in your mind...then use your finely-tuned intuition and discernment to determine what feels right and what doesn't. It's the only way..the truth is IN YOU. So releasing all negative thoughts/energy is a must because those only fog up your judgment and coherence. Meditation can help :)

Would the poster at least bother to spell the title track correctly? The Gothic references in the images are so old hat too. @aussiechickdiana This is not Indian Chant for sure.I believe this type of singing is practised in Mongolia. They have many different styles of singing. This style closely resembles Longsong. Longsong is basically a song in which only 10 words are used over a duration of 4 minutes or maybe, even more.

Religion is the way many people try to sort out the chaos of their lives. Its how they try to find meaning and purpose. But that is the core and original goal of religion. Religion has given birth to more charities than you can count, and unites people even when it divides them. Sure, it has its harms, but it isn't evil. People might twist it to fit their evil works, but it doesn't mean that religion itself is evil. Jesus preached non-discrimination and 'love thy neighbour', after all.

What makes (at least the revised Christian) religion superior is the fact that it accepts the imperfection, perversion, evil, greed, bigotry, selfishness and other bad traits of homo sapiens, along with the good ones, such as consideration, mercy, generosity, love, friendship etc. We are imperfect by design, regardless of our good intentions.
