@Altairograph well, there are several ways to tackle someone in rugby, so it's possible I suppose; it really depends on how you choose to take them down. Personally, I have seen judo throws in rugby, but most of them have been at the breakdown rather than on a man with the ball. They're just going too fast to try it, really

the kits thing was a joke. Scotland were not obliged to change their jerseys as they normally would be if they were the 'home' team. However, Murrayfield was technically Rugby World Cup territory for the match so that idea was out the window (the SRU did not organise the match; there were no bagpipes for the anthems for example)

in the normal run of things, Scotland would've played in white shirts and shorts.

besides, WTF are NZ thinking in having a change shirt of deep grey anyway?!?!

@UHtiger I agree about Kahn Fotuali'i he is an awesome player and I really don't like Andy Ellis. The only thing about Colin Slade though is that when I saw the Crusaders vs Bulls semi final last year, Slade played terribly and dropped almost every ball. He cracks under pressure I personally think McAlister should swith to 10 this super rugby season as the All Blacks need a back up for carter and with Nonu and Sonny Bill it's unlikely he'll get a spot at 12.

@auso824 i just dont think crudens up to it yet, too small and isnt the best kicker. Slade showed in the sydney test that he can come in and do what needs to be done. Fotuali'i beat andy ellis for the 9 position in the crusaders this year then went and played really well at 10 for the Hawkes Bay in the ITM cup. Born and raised new zealander but after missing out on the all blacks has chosen to play for samoa.

Carter won't be back until the end of the year, so likely he'd start at 10 for the Tri Nations, and move to 12 if needed.

When Carter comes back, he'd probably be competing for 12 with Nonu and others (and would have a pretty good shot at it). Then if Carter goes off/injured he can slot in at 10
