I was literally crying to this song a couple weeks back. The music...the lyrics...just spoke to me on a deep level!! God was and is working wonders in my life and God was telling my spirit to STAY STRONG. This song completely described what I was going through and the tears just started falling. Listened to EWF, was 12 at the time. I remember I really hating myself but used to sneak in my sisters room put on the headphones turn the volume up and all my problems would disappear. EWF were truly sent by God.
i had a good friend who sang in a band and this song was in their reportoire, and when they knew that my sisters, my friends, and i would be in the club that night, they'd wait until they saw us to sing 'head to the sky.' it was my very favorite E, W, and F SONG. i saw them perform in atlanta and i was on pins and needles until they sang it. i love this song because it seems to imply that no matter what the situation, look to GOD, in other words, keep your head to the sky.
