MX-5's are surely cool little runners, but my '09 MB SLK300 w/AMG Sport Package & 19" wheels, 7-spd tranny w/paddle shifters, direct steer, all the luxurious goodies possible both inside & out, including the same black paint sprayed on the McLaren SLR contrasting the red leather....hands down the SLK blows the tinny rice burner doors off the Mr. Miyagi mobile.

@bloobear1 No it isn't. That's crap. There's a reason the MX-5 has won practically EVERY MAJOR AUTOMOTIVE AWARD since its release in 1989.

The SLK struggles with competition in its own price range, and is a "also ran" with Porsche and BMW.

Basically, I wouldn't be bragging about owning an SLK. They're not bad, but there's so much better available at that price range, you're basically just advertising that you can't afford it new, or don't have the sense to buy the better car.
