Personally I am a Christian. . . I'm also an American. @Rhantismos23 Well actually no one really knows when Jesus was born, instead scholars (read wikipedia) usually argue for why the 25th was chosen around 400 years after Jesus' birth. Most of the arguments involve earlier holidays, like the winter solstice. The winter solstice is also the birthday of these other gods.
Actually they were born from virgins. The virgin birth is a clear similarity. So is 12 disciples, crucifixion, dead for 3 days and resurrected. And the similar names they share.

So where does God tell the Egyptians that he is the real god, making sure they understand he is "real" as well and not just told in second-hand from perhaps Abraham or Moses?
The first mention of Egypt, except Gen10, is of Abraham visiting Egypt and God punishing Pharao with diseases for no real reason.

Well actually God created and designed the tree and the apples so he should have known what effect the apples would have on Adam and Eve. There are ways you can teach without the need of punishments, god should know that, but still he takes the hardest road for everyone, which is kind of stupid. @Emeradisles Amen! Your posts are wonderful :) I don't understand what's so hard to get about the Trinity either. People behave as if we don't exist in even more than a trinity of roles, too. We are daughters/sons, mothers/fathers, sisters/brothers, nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles, etc. We exist in so many ways, in so many roles... but we're still the same, one person. The Dearborn mayor and police can't help being "wussies" who are afraid of Muslims. Muslims are very dangerous, so we have to follow special rules when they are around. If you visit Dearborn, wear a hajib or a habib or a jahid, or whatever (a wahib?) and one of those things that looks like a bathrobe. And carry a fake missile launcher and a big dull knife, and talk crazy. Then the Muslims will respect you and think you're one of them, and you'll feel welcome in Dearborn, Michigan.

Very interesting. I think it is the MUSLIMS that should be angered by this. The police force is somehow protecting them from the danger of accidentally becoming Christian. The makers of this video suggest that it is their rights that were violated, and that is true. However, the much bigger warning here is that most likely the local Muslim elders have requested that the police protect their young Muslim children from the dangers of Christianity. Very very interesting...

The Thomas More Law Center is doing that. But gotta give some credit to the ACLU this time as well. One of their representatives commented on the situation and seemed to agree that this was a wrongful arrest.

@tank95ww Because this was Christians whose Constitutional rights were violated, which they're okay with. For some reason, it's okay to talk-down Christianity all you want but when it comes to Islam or anything else, it's a violation of "civil right."
In reality, Islam is not a religious issue, but a political one and should be dealt with at the ideological level.

I feel sorry for the Muslim teens asking questions around 4:17 to 6:46. While their original intentions were probably to challenge Nabeel's views I think they also were eager to seek truth--is Islam right? Is Christianity right? Or are they both wrong and something else is right? I think the Muslim teens wanted an honest answer to those questions. Nabeel may be the one who got arrested
but I think those teens are the real victims here.

@momojojo Different circumstances. In the 60's people were fighting for their basic civil rights...the right to be treated as an equal human being...these guys are just trying to prove a point.
