  • Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah and the way of the Rightly-Guided Khaleefahs. Adhere to it and bite onto it with your back teeth (i.e., cling firmly to it). And beware of newly-invented matters, for every newly-invented matter is an innovation and every innovation is a going-astray.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Sunnah, 3991. Al-Albaani said in Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawood, no. 3851, it is saheeh).

  • Celebrating mawlid is not from the sunnah .

  • @SalamToMohammed Riding a bicycle isn't sunnah either. If you'd like, I can give you many more examples of what isn't sunnah.

  • @Anavengertg "Everything in the worldly life (such as riding bicycle) is halal as long there is no evidence that it is haram." We can eat "Mango", because it is in the area of worldly life and Islam do not say anything about Mango. Now, I the matter of religion and worship, EVERYTHING is rejected unless there is proof and evidence from the Quran and Sunnah. Say, for example, we can not make up a new nafl prayer, that will be held in the mosque everyday 10am. Hope the rule is clear.

  • @tareq992403 And yet the prophet never forbade the celebration of his birth. He only forbade anyone worshipping him. See there's a difference between praise and worship.

  • @Anavengertg The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever does an action that is not in accordance with this matter of ours (Islam) will have it rejected.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2697; Muslim, 1718).

  • @tareq992403 Does not prove that the Mawlid is Haram whatsoever.

  • @Anavengertg Take some time to read the Hadis before getting "mad" for replying. Mawlid is in the area of Religion and Worship. To make it permissable, it must need to proven from Quran and Sunnah, otherwise it is rejected. If Mawlid is something good, then why did not the best sahaba such as Abu bakr, Umar, Usman, Ali (peace be upon them all) did not do it? Do you love prophet (s) more that the Sahaba's? Do you understand Islam better than the Sahaba?

  • @Anavengertg 1. For worldly things. Islam provides the list for things which are haram (such as eating pig, riba..etc). Other worldly things are permissable. We do not need any hadis to prove micro-oven is permissable, as there is nothing mentioned in Islam about it. 2. For religious actions, Islam provides the list for things which are halal and permissable (such as prayer, zakat...etc). Other religious actions are not permissable. We can not add or subtract from religion.

  • @tareq992403 It's not about Bid'a, It's about misunderstanding what exists.

  • @Anavengertg lol , brother im talking about bida in the religion not in worldy life , yes we can ride bikes and camels but we cant add to the religion .

  • Mawlid is a innovation in Islam. It must be rejected. Can any one provide any reference from Quran, hadis, or the practice of Sahaba for Mawlid? If Mawlid have any basis, our prophet will do it and instruct us to do it. Hamza Yusuf needs to come to the straight path.

  • @tareq992403 I think you need to study the Qur'an and Hadith before speaking. That way you won't state your opinions like it was facts.

  • @Anavengertg You got me right bro. I am an ignorant. Can you just provide me the answer for "Can any one provide any reference from Quran, hadis, or the practice of Sahaba for Mawlid? If Mawlid have any basis, our prophet will do it and instruct us to do it."

  • 1:30... Nauzubillah, what is this fire worshiping about? Why do we have to humiliate ourself by trying to imitate Jews and Christians? If you don't believe that your religion, i.e. Islam is the best and the only acceptable in the sight of Allah then you are not Muslim. Who told us to celebrate birthdays? What is this jahiliya? Come on brothers and sisters, lets stick to Sunnah. This video is pure misguidance. Praise be to Allah and peace be upon the prophet. Come back to Islam!!!

  • mawlid un nabi is not a bidah only to wahhabi blind followers who dont really have a clue about it.start studying islam maybe you will start agreeing with it.

  • If the people here can provide one authentic evidence of the Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) ordering this, the Sahaaba (radiAllaahu 'anhum) calling towards it and celebrating it, or the Tabi'een (rahimahumullaah) calling towards it and celebrating it, or even the Tabi' al-Tabi'een (rahimahumullaah) calling towards it and celebrating it, I will be the one to sponsor this celebration at my local masjid. Which I won't be, because none of you have any evidence.

  • does anyone know wh othe singer at 1:50?

  • @abdurrahmanalsalafi not all bidaah is a bad bidaah a...

  • misguided wahhabies will never ever understand what love of the prophet is.do the wahhabies think that the majority that we are in are all going to hell for celebrating the prophets birthday. wahhabies are nutcases.

  • Hmm why did Hamza Yusuf dressed like a christian priest and why were there so many candles.. ?

  • Comment removed

  • @khairunnisa84

He wears a Turban/Imama and a mauretanian dress. Many of the muslim scholars in Mauretania wear this dress.

    P.S.

Is there any rule in Fiqh, which forbids candles! :-D

  • @Batyralp Khairunnisa84 shows the ignorance of modern muslims. He/she actually believed that Imam Hamza was dressed like a catholic priest. Kuffar don't scare me but muslim ignorance does..we are very ignorant people i feel!

  • @sonofJurell You can't expect me to know everything? I'm just asking a question to understand why he was dressed that way and why the environment was like that.

    Stop being defensive.

  • @Batyralp OK Dokie.. understood. :) in Fiqh, it doesnt forbid candles but Rasulullah forbids us to follow other religion customs.

It gave me that impression - he was dressed like a priest. I haven't been to Mauretania so I dunno.. now I do know. Thank you. :)

  • @khairunnisa84 Is that a real question? Its west african islamic dress! Dressed like a christian priest? What? The only valid form of dress is pakistani/indian/saudi dress? The man studied in Western Africa! There are muslims there ya know!? And since when are candles a problem? It's a candle for crying out loud. You are so ignorant! You're like an animal!

  • @sonofJurell

Yup, I do know there are muslims there, but I dunno they are dressed that way.

    An animal? Haha.. ok anything.

  • Aap Se Bohat Muhabbat Hai Ya Rasool Allah.....

    SubhanAllah!!!

  • i know lol

    how funny was that?

  • amazing
