Internet Explorer is similar to Dora the Explorer for a couple of reasons

There to slow

They stop alot

They are always seem to be talking in a different language

The reason IE loads slower, is that you allready has started to load it in firefox. Same as if you run a lot of programs on your pc it will become slower..

Well for nytimes, you had obviously been on the website because it came up when you were typing it in.

-.- You hide the menu bar thats why there wasnt no file and all the menus. Favourites is just as easy to get to as bookmarks is. For pop-ups you should configure your settings to HIGH so that more pop-ups will be blocked.

IE looks almost the same as Firefox, Firefox looks childish.

@Liamm4You I was on nytimes before with both browsers. It doesn't matter the site; Firefox is just faster. It's just the way it's coded. And with file, edit, etc, thats how IE comes by default. I'm sure you can change settings,but thats how it's given. With pop-ups, again thats just how the browser was given to me. I don't think firefox looks childish, but even if you think you do at least FF gives you the option to change how it looks. In my eyes, IE 7 and FF isn't even a competition.

I think the main issue with IE is the fact that it is what is what it is. You can't change the theme or install add-ons (you can install toolbars but they suck!). Just to point out the in IE, if you press the 'Alt' key, the file and edit stuff does come up.

Microsoft goes on about how IE is fast and how it is easy to install. It’s slower than most browsers and even though it’s pre-installed on windows, it still has to ask you stupid questions that Firefox doesn't.

It's not that it's buggy, it just doesn't have any good features, and almost every other browser I've used is lighter on ram and cpu, and is overall faster.

This is because web programmers just bend over to the Micro$oft and agree to patch and change code which is understood by any other browsers except M$ Explorer. That takes time and work, it finally works and this is why you never had problems. But in the long run it is mistake to fix code that is legitimate and understood by any browser just to conform to inferior product, which is Internet Explorer.

You can use Opera all you want, nobody's stopping you. I'm glad you like it. But Firefox gets more users everyday, and it deserves it. It's a great browser, not some "religion".

Microsoft Internet Explorer IS NOT A WEB BROWSER, To be a Web Browser It should at least be compatible with W3C Web Standard who is Fucking NOT, Very far from. IE is a WASTE and like Many Waste can Be dangerous.
