  • You sound like Murray from Flight of the Conchords

  • I did my first one thanks to you! I appreciate it!

  • Awesome! I will definitely try that! Thanks so much! I've seen some of those before, but I thought that I needed a 360 degree picture and much more effort and time than it turned out to require. I really want to get into this and show my friends (who will probably never have seen something like it)!

  • Hey Gavin...Could you do a tutorial of how u actually shoot a full Little Planet effect with multiple pictures.

    thanks

  • awesome!

  • Awesome!

  • which photoshop version should u use?

  • @kevinguyen00 cs5, but lightroom 3 is allot better for raw processing

  • nevermind i made it but if there would be an option to set how much distortion you want it would be better to make your planet a litle bigger

    Bullsh... planet

    beer planet... u.u

  • kahiosama´s planet

  • great tute! Thanks:)

  • usually that should work with a 360° panorama right? when yes....i somehow fail doing it with pse8

  • What if the landscape shot you have is on the side of a hill, and you quite get it to look even?

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies on the original image, drop in a guideline and rotate the image until the landscape is the same height at either end of the image. Then crop it in to get rid of any transparent areas left or right (don't worry about top or bottom). The important thing is to make each end look roughly the same.

Can I just put on record that this works fine in GIMP as well (GIMP being free, open source and the future!) for those of us who can't pare £500 for software.

  • thanks gavin ill try this tonight :)

  • WOW! He is awesome!

  • When I take these pictures, must have fisheye lenses or can i use ultra-wide lens?

  • @TheSpeedlite Your focal width doesn't really matter, although a fisheye lens could probably create either an interesting effect or an image a bit harder to work with. Important thing is you got a clear sky, edges looking fairly similar and something like the tree here sticking up above the horizon.

  • thats a biiiig tree!

  • thanks a LOT Gavin!

been looking to be able to do this for a while now.

    5**

  • Exactly what i was looking for.

    Thank you so much :D
