it depends... like i using the gimp to color comics now, on my new mac. and it doesn't have cmyk. but i can always change it after worlds. i also find that it you send the large file as a tiff, and adjust the saturation it works just fine. RGB looks way off when printed when your sending large jpegs. i should add converting an RBG file to CMYK is a pain on a mac for some reason. it was alot easier on a PC.
