The big problem was ABC did not handle this show right. The writer strike got in the way. You went from May to Oct. With the show off the air and some people just did not get the idea of the show. I'm am so glad I have both seasons on DVD. And you are right is was Dr Seuss like.

Someone jerk told me that the show wasn't going anywhere because the characters couldn't touch. It's unique and sweet and just as great because they CAN'T touch. With each gesture that passes through the air and every smile that they give each other, it's shows how much they love each other! I hate that it was canceled.

What a delicious programme. I live in the UK and Torchwood ended its current run last week. New Doctor Who has started, but it rarely has that dark Tim Burton-esque edge to it's humour. Pushing Daisies has me immediately hooked. Bravo once again to the States for yet another wild, imagination-grabbing TV show. Shame the British fail miserably so often (apart from Ashes to Ashes/Torchwood and Dr Who) lol

Okay, question, okay, I heard on CBC this morning that the writers strike was comming to a conclusion (Anyone else see this?) and would be settled within the next 2 weeks...

I looked on IMDB, under Pushing Daisies, and when the writers strike is resolved, they will start airing episodes in Spring. (April.)
