  • Cam u use the Stanton t.120c for just casual lp listening?

  • you saved me thank you very much i'm a beginner to turntables but now there setup up correctly thank you friend

  • Hey mate. I'm going to buy a Numark ibattle pack.. I know its nothing special, it's my first set. Do you recommend this for a beginner ?

  • @HTFR... Great video on how to set up i really needed this you are very percise but wanted to ask you if you know where i can find those replaceable target lights for the stanton turntables i've been looking all over but i can't find any target lights that they say are replaceable, if you know where i can buy them please tell me where? thanks!

  • We sell a wide range of spare parts at HTFR, but unfortunately we do not currently stock Stanton target light replacements. I would reccomend looking at Stanton's website to see if they can arrange a replacement for you.

  • @HTFR hey, im thinking about starting up, what do i need other than a scratch board in the lines of speakers and stuff. please help!

  • Can somebody private message me a link or show me something here of a good set to start with thats for vinyl and has everything you need?

  • @unisickle check out our DJ packages online - they come with everything you need and some even come with free packs of vinyl to get you started :)

  • @unisickle Don't do that man. Spend some time researching what to get. Theres loads of DJ forums where this question has been asked lots. You better off investing in a decent pair of decks (ie technics 1210's), then if you don't like em you can resell them as they keep their value pretty well. If you but crappy decks you'll be stuck with them because they will just break. Depends what your going to be doing to be honest. If your getting in to scratching or mixing for instance.

  • I have a pretty idiot question but I have to know the answer, this turntable is able to use CDs? to make scratches for example directly from the track from CD? Please make me understand this fact. Thanks.

  • @whoisrikk1 This turntable does not play CDs. However you can link the turntable with your laptop or computer to play digital media with DVS systems that we sell on our website; I would reccomend having a look at intimidation touch, traktor, and serato to name a few.

  • niiiice. the stantons. really good set

  • no they aren't. technics or bust.

  • is it hard to be a DJ?

  • @fakingthetuesday DJing can be as easy and as hard as you like, for beginners we also sell books on how to dj and you can also contact us either via e-mail or phone for any problems you are having :)

  • shame the t120's are not on sale anymore

  • did u have 2 buy 2 stanton turntables seperate plus a mixer?

  • how do you do it on a straight tonearm tho

  • just the same.

  • hey^^) i bearly got my turntable for christmas and i wanted to know if i need a mixer in order to hear it or if i could use something else

  • @u2ytecno001 If you want to DJ, you will need a Dj mixer. However if you just want to play records you can plug it straight into your amplifier / speakers (please note you may need a phono preamp if your amplifier does not have one built in).

  • didn't know HTFR has a youtube channel.. nice..bought some oldskool uk hardcore a few years ago from ya. glad to see you have videos helping people out..Cheers homey!

  • i bought an old kenwood turntable kd21r and i screwed with the settings of the arm and now it is off balanced and i have no clue how to reset it and do not have any of the manuals can anyone help a clueless girl?

  • @0xz depending on the exact model of your turntable and your preference i would set the turntable weight as follows. Pick out a record which is one of your bassiest, set the weight to as light as possible and then add more weight until the record stops skipping. If you are still having technical problems you can also give us a call on 0121 687 7777 and a member of our hardware team will be happy to help :)

  • i believe you have to completely adjust your weight first and than use onesided recored to adjust your antiskate. I tried your method on my ttables and my needle goes all the way to the center of the recored when i drop it on the blank side of the recored

  • You do not really need to use a blank record, all you need to do is get the weight right and then play an actual tune on a record, easiest thing to do is just play around with the antiskip until the record does not skip, start it off completely turned to one side then just adjust until it stops skipping.

  • you have to unscrew the cartridge then gently pull the wires off so you don't damage them, you then plug the wires onto the new cartridge and screw it on some cartridges come with a diagram on the back of the packaging to show which wire goes where

  • what about if you want to change your cart n stylus but they are connected to the headshell with wires. cant find any where how to do it and dont wanna mess up me headshell, any advice would be lovely, mate! :D

  • The wires (known as fly wires) will simply pull off the cartridge, they are a push fit connector. Carefully pull them off and slide them onto your new cartridge.

  • olá htfr you have mixer rane ttm 56 promply delivery? which is the value? debtor

  • We strive to keep all advertised products in stock. Add the item to your shopping basket to work out shipping options and costs for your relevant country.

  • im just starting dj whats the best way to learn mixtin turntables????

  • We suggest the excellent book 'How to dj [properly] - MR235784 - htfr(.)com/more-info/MR85250

  • Thanks, nice vid!! i want to start mixing, you Recommendations me to buy a Stanton DJLab.3 Dj Pack? you know its good for mixing? (i dont want spend a lot of money, and DJLab3 dont its a lot)

  • We don't sell the Lab 3 pack anymore because it has been discontinued. However we do sell the Lab two pack which is really good for starting out as it has T60's and two channel mixer with full EQ and all the extras.

  • What would you reccomend as a begginers direct drive package, either the Kam DJ Mix 150 or the Numark Battlepack 2? I know from reviews that the Battlepack's mixer isnt too good so what do you reccomend?

  • The Numark Battle Pack is the one we would advise here. The turntables are more robust, than the Kam ones, and this is more important to your mixing than the mixer (however, the Numark mixer is just as good as the Kam one).

  • dj q-bert said it was good to lick your finger and rub the end of the cartdridge, before you screw it onto the tone arm.

  • Hey, I have a question. Is it alright to scratch with belt-drive? If not, why? and what're the possible damages that can happen to the turntable?

  • Its not advised to scratch with a belt driven turntable, as these are only for playback. The belt is used to drive the platter, so any sudden movement on the platter, the belt can slip, causing speed differences of the playback, which will affect timing & also the pitch of the record. The belt will also be put under pressure meaning it can stretch or even snap! A budget direct drive suitable for scratching would be the Stanton T60, take a look at it here: htfr(.)com/more-info/MR152799

  • i have a question to.wat can you tell me about this model is is gud? Numark "DJ In A Box" DJ Turntable Kit

_ (2) TT1610 multi-directional efficient belt drive turntables with aluminum platters

_ DM950 2 channel + mic mixer, EQ on each channel, slider style cueing

    _ HF125 flexible 7-position dual headphone

    _ (2) Groove Tool™ cartridges and slipmats

  • This package is a great beginner starter set, with everything included to get you going on your journey to become a superstar DJ. I would advise if you can afford a little to take a look at some of our packages that include DIRECT DRIVE turntables, as these will be more reliable in keeping your tracks in time, making it easier to beat match. Our direct drive packages start from as little as £199

  • Ok thanks for that, does buying a stanton diablo cart & stylus improve mixing?

  • It depends how good you are to start with but it should improve your sound and quality.

  • What do you think of the Stanton T80 decks?

  • The T80 is the updated version of the classic t60, it boasts great torque but also some significant feature advances such as key lock (the ability to change the speed of the record without the key changing) and an option for a line level output for easy integration into any sound system/mixer. This is the turntable for the intermediate dj who doesnt want to break the bank but needs professional features.

  • :D im so happy, just managed to get myself a Behringer DJX700 mixer (iv wanted one for aages)

and i got 2 numark TT500s (havnt managed to hook them up yet but ill manange)

i also have 2 cd decks (KCDJ 130s)

so my set ups looking kind of nice at the moment, just need to find room for everything, i wish i had some pioneor cd decks though =[

  • whats the music in the beginning ? right at 0:10 ?

  • It's a custom loop that we use on a few of our videos.

  • I'm comletely new like some other people - and I'm having trouble getting sound out of it! (Belt Drive MOSTT1000) because there's these wires which are red and white, when I plug these into my CDplayer (which play au) where you are sposed to plug em in. Then no sound comes out except the quietest from the Turntable itself.

  • Have you selected AUX on your CD player as your sound source?

  • sure have

  • That's because you need a pre-amp between the turbtable and the cd player. The level that comes out of the turntable is lower by a huge factor compared to the level that comes out of a cd player or mp3 player.

You can by a pre-amp for not much money just to get you started and then price goes up with quality.

  • was wondering wat u think of da stanton SA 5 mixer??

  • The stanton sa5 is a great little scratch mixer. It has three band eq with kill, full curve and reverse on all faders and program reverse. The real beauty of this mixer though is the quality of the faders, penny & giles throughout. Penny and giles make probably the best contact faders around and this mixer has three of them!

  • i'm completly new to learning how to dj i was wondering what would be a good set up for people who novice i got these for my birthday i don't know if it's a good set or not Numark TT1600MKII Fusion Series Turntable

  • These (Numark TT1600 MKII) are entry-level turntables, but there is no reason why you can't start learning the fundamentals of beat-matching on them however they are belt drive and I imagine it wont be too long before you want a direct drive turntable for its increased performance levels. As always check out our website for the greatest prices on turntables

  • cool vid, wats da best all round(scratchin/mixin) mixer a beginner can start wit?

  • We'd recommend the Urei 1601, not only is it a feature packed mixer, it's also available exclusively from HTFR at an unbeatable price. Check out the T60 mixing video to see it in action or our video demo on it.

  • so u guyz decided to make some tutorials...

i like the reviews, the tutorials and most videos u upload, now waiting for more videos!

    cheers

  • great video gd for sum 1 who needs help wiv setting up ther decks:)
