My grandfather Nicolay was a WW2 veteran. He went through the war (1941- 45 in russia), he got shot three times, he helped soviet military intelligence to found out about nazi soldiers plans,so the army could prevent big attacks, where women and children could die. he went back home in late 1945 to my grandma and her kids. he loved fishing and gardening. he died in 1998 in his sleep in his garden while sitting on the bench. Rest In Peace, Grandfather.
