this game is really great and i love doing monster play but you should be able to create a monster to begin so your main character can be a monster then there would be true pvp =)

It's really sad they left true PvP out. Like said earlier, pvp totally fits in the LotR Lore.. Full of epic wars and battles! How hard can it be to play an Orc, Evil men from the hills and so on ... The creators from this game will miss a lot of incomming cash since 50% of the MMORPG players prefer a true pvp abillity.

LOTR has dick-all for an evil race, its not like WOW where they are somewhat normal but evil, in lotr, the evil races are zombies controlled by evil forces, they dont have villages and trainers and shops so to add that would be soiling Tolkien's name for the sake of PVP obssessed kewl d00ds

SERVER WOULD NOT BE ABLE to hold so many people, u would watch maybe only powerpoint slides, these are our own dreams man... this is just impossible for now... if it would next 100 evil chars, server would explode on real :P.

I fully agree with you, but I mean as far as the interest in the franchise goes, how many kids do you still see running around pretending to be Aragorn? I never meant to insult the work of art that is Lord of the Rings, I'm only saying how this game isn't going to work for very long.

The reason why the dont take normal PvP in the game is, that they want to make the game as good as they can after Tolkien's idea. And in Tolkien's books the "good" ones fight against the evil forces and not against their allies.

I remember this guy bragging about DDO being entirely instanced. With a straight face he compared other games to having strangers interrupt your PNP game and throw your dice & maps on the floor. Total asshole.

I liked AC and loved AC2 despite both their flaws, but this company has always shown condescension and contempt towards players and to the MMO form in general. You guys have fun getting kicked in the teeth; don't say no one warned you.

well, you gotta take in consideration not a whole lot of people like getting owned by people 30 levels higher than themselves. most people really dont consider that fun.

Well, if you dont like PvP don't play on the PvP realm? Isnt that the best way to avoid the ganking? Personally I love PvP and it is a VITAL part of MMO's. They call this PvP, but its just lame, its PvE with player controlled monsters... whatever that is, its not what is considered Pvp imo. The game has GREAT potential but they miss out on the PvP, its sad really.
