Is this a regular bar or a deadlift bar? If it's a deadlift bar, you should pull the slack out of it before you start the lift. Check out Andy Bolton's videos and you'll see what I am talking about.
Its just a regular bar I believe. I wasnt a fan of there bar or bench. Bench bar really cut into your hands and the bench pad was really soft. Just have to work with what they have though.

I have pulled sumo before. I switched due to hip issues/overuse. Ill eventually go back to that but wanted to change it up for now.
