  • Goddamn the QR version is so much better.

  • this is wrong geoffs vocal teacher was a man who called himself the miestro, also known as david kyle.

  • @johnkickinwing

people can have more than one voice coach. Just sayin :D

  • I didn't know Queensryche's version was a cover! Cool! I'm gonna check out Lisa Dalbello!

  • Im a big 'ryche fan...never knew this was a cover tune.....Wow!

  • Writer, singer, performer, teacher,

close to you, closer, through & through,

    she'll get into you,

    can you get into her?

  • Crazy girl

  • Liusa Dalbello is a singing talent that can sing what she chooses to sing.. She also wrote this tune, so that might be another reason Mr. Tate chose to cover this song. He did a great job and his interpretation is very close to hers. Wonder where he got it from?

  • this is incredible......i thought queensryche did a great job by covering some unknown song,but...this girl is amazing by herself!

  • i love this girl

  • Bloody Sexy... in a magical and etherial sense of self.... i love her imagery!

  • lesbians are not as good as progressive metal bands lol

  • @seasack1 I guess not. I've never seen KD Lang or Melissa Etheridge try to do metal. But if you are referring to Lisa Dalbello, she is not a lesbian, adn was not trying to do metal.

  • her voice sucks compared 2 tate

  • @wasp3451 Everyone's voice sucks compared to Tate. If you hold him as the standard, you'll never like anyone else (except perhaps Ann Wilson who is every bit as talent in the female category). This is HER song though. She wrote it about herself. Apparently she impressed Tate enough to want to do it himself.

  • awsome!

  • OMG that was just AWESOME. I really enjoyed that performance. Now excuse me because I HAVE TO watch it again :)

  • wow that was awesome. always thought this was queensryches song.

  • this reminds me that such a pretty woman is the crown upon god his head by the perfection of woman like lisa dalbello

  • awesome drums!!!

  • Love this song... Underrated talent...

Cheesy performance here near the end though...

    LOVE HER ANYWAYS!!!!!!

  • I love you Lisa Dalbello,I think you are a pretty woman.I like your songlyrics.I am wanna get close to you.I get excited when I hear your footstepts on the hall.

I believe you are a fool, you are a fool without the wings of an angel.I believe youre a pretty one, maybe I am wrong maybe I am right you are some kind of a lunatic.

  • Who did this first - Lisa Dalbello or Queensryche?

  • Dalbello wrote it & did it first.

  • I saw her live in Norway, after she had released her first album. What a stage prescence! She didn't have enough songs for the encore, so she had to do a couple of the songs she had done earlier for the second time!

  • I said it before... STALKER CHICKS RULE

  • So underestimated and hardly known but what a great talent she is.

  • She rocks. What a writer and singer. Love her. Thanks for uploading.

  • Too good to be true that this wasn't Queensryche's.

  • they copied her 2 years after she released this song - usually when people do remakes they change it up but queensryche is an exact copy

  • @cooknthyme

Queensryche had the best combination of instruments and therefore is and will always be the better version.

  • I LOVE IT.

  • I heard that she used to experience wicked stage fright...

  • fucking A!!!!!!!!!!!

  • She is sooooooo awesome! A very little known talent. Rock on Lisa!

  • Incredible. Thanks

Dont know who the Warren Cucurrullo clone is but what a performance from the rest of the band. Fantastic.

Oh to be a spec of dust on your pillow Lisa.

  • Wrong! Underrated!!!

  • Awesome performance, thanks for sharing!

  • You know why Queensryche covered this song? Because Geoff Tate's teacher and song coach was Lisa dalbello. ;)

  • Actually his voice coach was a man named Davey Kyle...same guy also taught Lane Staley, the sisters from Heart and all of the original Queensryche members how to sing. He also taught Kenny G. his circular breathing.

  • Who is Kenny G., didgeridoo player, or who? :P

  • I think he copied her hairstyle for the video too!! ;) Love this song!!

  • God, I miss the 80s!

The guitar player looks like Steve Stevens and the bass player looks familiar too.

  • Why oh why she isn't performing with Mick Ronson this time...

  • A music teachr at my skwl, is L Dal Bello.

  • This is a great song. Queensryche gave it a bit more structure, but stayed with the original concept and general sound. I like their arrangement, but this was really groundbreaking back in the day.

  • stalker chicks are super

  • Lisa Dalbello is brilliant!!!!

    No one like her.

    And she's incredibly nice too!

  • why is she on just about every television commercial and the constant voice of the CBC?

    overrated

  • Canada's most underrated singer. Where are you Lisa? I miss you.

  • lis dalbello original wrote this song Ryche Covered it on Rage for Order

  • Dalbello did. Album name: whomanfoursays (1984)

  • Who originally wrote this song??? Im big fan of Queensryche and then I found this version.

  • cool... love this song, thought that i like it better with Queensryche...

but this was a great perfromance.

  • you know....this one is good...but Geoff Tate really sounds like a fucking nut when he sings this one...I think its one of Queensryche best songs.

  • a stunning performance!

  • I'm like a hungry criminal

    And your protection is minimal

    So minimal

  • awesome :) one of the best performances I've ever seen. Does she still tour?

  • don't we all just luv the stalkin'type...

  • WoW!!!

  • I saw this tour at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. I have some pictures of it. One of the most remarkeble shows I've ever seen. If someone has the complete 1985 Rockpalast show on dvd please PM me.

  • The tag says this was recorded in Jan. 85, Rage was released in June 86. I'm a huge fan of the Ryche version, they did her song justice.

  • sorry, was german dateformat

it has been aired in germany at the "16. Rockpalast Nacht 19.-20.October 1985"

    recorded on beta hifi

  • OMG! What a kick-ass version of this song! Dalbello is a genious!

  • This is awesome! It's like she borrowed some ideas from Queensryche's cover version and combined them with her original to synthesize something greater than the sum of the two. :-D

  • She is an awesome performer. The sound quality is very good for live. She's a real cutie too. Lisa's been around for a long time. I'm a serious musician and I appreciate real good original stuff like this. I would love to meet her!

  • I haven't seen this version before! Great post. She's so damn awesome!

  • when was this taped? i am in love with her!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! THANK YOU!

  • Suuuuuuuuuu PERB!

  • Thanks for sharing this one! I love all those Dalbello videos that show up lately!
