Count me in as REALLY wanting to see that one again... I vaguely remember that the owner of the fridge keeps opening and closing the door or something... help!
Does anyone remember a public service announcement for poison awareness that had singing fruit or vegetables --or possibly pill and chemical bottles-- that were puppets like these fruits, and at the end they sang, "These things you do not eat!"? I'd love to see that again.
No, it wasn't on Sesame Street. It was some Canadian PSA to prevent little kids from munching on plants like daffodils and foxglove. It has singing PLANTS chanting "poison, poison, poison" they ended the song with "MY LEAVES you do not eat!"
you notice the banana knows enough English to respond in it but, not to know his name? lol

@Maureen9224 Yes, though Jerry is only the Platano when talking. When singing, he's performed by Peter Friedman.

Who does the voice of the pineapple? Because it sounds so much like Harold Ramis.

Frank Oz

I know it's Jim Henson doing the voice, but the apple remnds me of Louie Anderson.

Nope, I saw "We're not candy" on here. I didn't remember it, so that wasn't it. And no, it wasn't on Sesame Street.
