  • @Maureen9224 Yes, though Jerry is only the Platano when talking. When singing, he's performed by Peter Friedman.

  • I like how the apple tries hard to cheer in Spanish.

    "Ole MacIntosh!"

  • this is just too cute!

  • "Knock it off, you guys! This is a still life!"

  • wow . . .

  • Ohmigosh, I think I remember watching this one as a kid because throughout my life, I've had visions of fruit dancing to this type of music.

  • Who does the voice of the pineapple? Because it sounds so much like Harold Ramis.

  • Frank Oz

  • I know it's Jim Henson doing the voice, but the apple remnds me of Louie Anderson.

  • Nope, I saw "We're not candy" on here. I didn't remember it, so that wasn't it. And no, it wasn't on Sesame Street.

  • Where?

  • These guys used to live on Carmen Miranda's hat.

  • Does anyone remember a public service announcement for poison awareness that had singing fruit or vegetables --or possibly pill and chemical bottles-- that were puppets like these fruits, and at the end they sang, "These things you do not eat!"? I'd love to see that again.

I don't remember this skit, but it's nice.

  • Are you referring to something that was on Sesame Street?

  • I think I know what ur talking about; I think it's pills and they sang "We're not candy!"

  • No, it wasn't on Sesame Street. It was some Canadian PSA to prevent little kids from munching on plants like daffodils and foxglove. It has singing PLANTS chanting "poison, poison, poison" they ended the song with "MY LEAVES you do not eat!"

  • That sounds about right. Thanks! I hope that's on youtube.

  • @StoogeAtHeart That one wasn't Sesame Street- search " Don't you put it in your mouth" and you'll get the one I think you are looking for..

  • Wierd, so the US versions get spanish and us Canadians always got French words.

  • Do you know a word that's the same in English, Spanish and French?

  • NO! lol

  • It's easy; don't you want to guess?

  • Did this fruit break away from Marvin Suggs' All-Food Glee Club?

  • LOL! THis is so cute! The apple is my favorite in the group! This is going to my favorites! Such a catchy little song!

  • Fruit flashback!
