I'm not Christian, & I don't really care that much, but Flyleaf is a Christian band if ever there was one. All the members are Christian, & a lot of the songs are about God. What do they have to do, play at church every Sunday to be a Christian band? I saw them play a tiny show by themselves outside a tattoo convention in San Antonio, Texas. Lacey said something like "If we aren't doing this for God, then what are we doing?". She was talking about the band and the music. Great show, BTW. -p-

God says we are supposed to love everyone. And I'm not going to become hateful because they are different. Looking at the conversations I feel I should apologize for the stereotypical Christians. First let me make clear that I am a Christian. But most people have false understandings of who we are. There are some out there who judge and seem way more "evil" than non religious people. They've forgotten to love and instead are only concerned with forcing their beliefs on people. This isn't what we're supposed to do. Even if someone IS actually doing something wrong. We're to warn them ONCE and then go.

God sent His Son Jesus to die for us, to forgive us for our sins and to free us from bondage of the enemy (depression, etc). God is complete live and wants to redirect us back to the plans He has for us. To have a relationship with Jesus, all you need to do is receive Him into your heart by inviting Him in. I am a strong believer in Christ and God, but I have a lot of friends who aren't. I couldn't see God ever sending them to Hell, but that's what the Bible says. Then I have some friends who believe in God just so they don't go to Hell, they say that it's better to believe in Heaven and find out there isn't one than to believe in it then find out there is one, but that's not the best reasoning... Look at all the apostles they killed, and commited a slew of other sins. But Jesus forgave them and lifted them up to high positions. I don't want to be a "crazy christen" or freak you out or anything, but it says in the Bible, if you just believe that Jesus died for you sins, and loves you and you ask for forgiveness, you will be allowed in his kingdom. No one is perfect, so no one can go to heaven, but Jesus changed that. i just became a believer and my friend who is also a believer loves this band and she told me Fly Leaf was a Christian band so ive bin listening to them and this is my favourite song especially at the course with " he will raise you up " something moves inside me and i like it. Theocracy - Absolution Day is also a Christian band and shows Gods love for us...figured id share the last bit

@xStaindSoul Ever heard of Skillet? The lead singer said he grew up like that- now he's in a band that has guitar and drums. :) My parents aren't Christians so it's hard to be singing to this sort of music with them in the house. I sort of know how you feel. Hope this helped a bit. :)

I am a strong believer in Christ and God, but I have a lot of friends who aren't. I couldn't see God ever sending them to Hell, but that's what the Bible says. Then I have some friends who believe in God just so they don't go to Hell, they say that it's better to believe in Heaven and find out there isn't one than to believe in it then find out there is one, but that's not the best reasoning... It makes me, idk, sad seems so generic, it's more than that, much more...

Look at all the apostles they killed, and commited a slew of other sins. But Jesus forgave them and lifted them up to high positions. If you genuinely believe in god, ask him to forgive you. he will. :)

No one is perfect, so no one can go to heaven, but Jesus changed that. But technically, you say that you believe in God, but not really, yet you wish that if you went to Hell, God would watch over your loved ones. I mean, you already seem like a good person, so the worst is past. If you pray that God would watch over them, why not pray that He helps you believe more in Him, so that your prayers would be stronger and more truthful?

@brock1596 it is a sin to cinvince/convert some1, in the bible god said that he gave us free will, individuall thoughts and beliefs so we shall not change anyones. in other words, do not try to make some1 a christian if they aren't and if god said that then going against it is a sin.
