  • @1scot4scotland IMA INDIAN U.UA.AUA.AUAUA.AUA.AU.AUA. FEATHER ON MY DICK LMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAO CHASE WILD PIGS AND DANCE AROUND THE PITFIRE,OH YES BAWWWWWWWBY

  • @Rod94WC some one needs to check ur ass into a psycho ward now

  • @1scot4scotland And be sure to give them the finger and hide the Stone of Destiny they slip under the English kings ass when they you he rules over you all. Scots are the meanest, toughest, orneriest bunch of warriors anywhere in the world.

Kick their limey butts out of the country if ya don't like em. Seems you did OK before they came along. Hell, even the Romans wouldn't mess with ya.

  • @durdle1701 The Stone of Destiny is Scottish, not English, and the Royal lines are blended now anyway in 200+ year union of the crowns. There are no English rulers possible anymore--only British, meaning of commingled blood of Scottish (Stuart), English (Saxon), Welsh (Tudors). But not much blood from the British Isles in the current ruling family. The Scots claim traditionally is that the Stone of Scone, or Destiny, is from ancient Israel, and is the same as Jacob's Pillow.

  • @israelipiper There are historians that have said the stone was originally brought from Ireland to Scotland where you pick up the story. I believe that the House of Windsor, which is the present ruling family of Britain are for the most part German if I'm not mistaken. It was George the 5th that renamed the royal house to reflect it's Hanovarian roots. I believe that there is some small amount of Stewart blood as well as some Dutch of all things. Gotta love history.

  • @israelipiper sorry the union of the crowns happened in 1603 James the sixth of scotland became the first of England, an unholy alliance the rest is history so they say

  • @durdle1701 *blinks, before waving some sort of fucking mental bread before your eyes you mad prick*.

    I mean, uhh....What's the point.

  • @Probablyacowtbh I guess it's bred into us American's to not let anyone but yourselves govern yourselves. I had another reply given me that gave me the straight word on the facts of the Stone Of Destiny (Jacob's Pillow if you prefer). I imagine to the Scot's it's their version of our Statue of Liberty (just not as old) LOL.

Any way, so much time has passed and the blending of Scots to English the line is really blurry.

  • @durdle1701 yeah because the damn english raped all the scots women they could

  • @1scot4scotland if we lose England AND europe then fine, bring it on. Losing England to gain Europe is a waste of time! So heres hoping it can become fully independant! We've fuck all to proove to anybody !

  • Beautiful music,for a noble people.

  • 2:23: AMAZING

  • The flute is beautiful in this, really adds character to this song

  • @KFCTEMPTATION Grow up

  • Note to self: Do not look at the comments section of any youtube videos. The levels of retrdeness has reached a pathogenic stage and you'll only burn out a few more precious braincells simply by trying to read it.

  • @Melanth89 Agreed! Couldn't have said it better myself :)

  • @Melanth89 best comment on Youtube ever. Period.

  • @Melanth89 I agree and it's very disheartening. The idiots are ruining this platform.

  • @Melanth89 The worst thing is not the comments, but the quantity of such authors - they're the majority of our population...

  • @Melanth89

'Nuff said. You hit the nail on the head !!!!!!!!!

  • @Melanth89 Hear, hear! It's quite disheartening to see the ridiculous things some people come up with. It sometimes makes me feel that I am the product of a million years of evolution while a lot of other people don't seem gotten past the Neanderthaler stage! Probably sounds arrogant. So be it. It's lonely at the top....

  • @Veneil

    Quite lonely indeed.

    @gingijus

    And that's the scary part.

  • @Veneil hear hear!

  • @Rod94WC

  • @Rod94WC y srsly man i'm no racist but indians are taking it way too far, going to each country stealing the jobs and makin it filled with people who never take showers/smell like curry, just makes me go fmlmoad

  • @KFCTEMPTATION um that's a stereotype of Indians from India. Which is completely wrong. I'm talking about Native American Indians. Call your elementary teachers and ask them why they fucked up your education. Because, you are a DUMBASS.

  • @KFCTEMPTATION you took their land and everything they had, so let them take your jobs ;)

  • @Sarcastic 07 fkin indians immigrating everywhere and stealing people's jobs to get 1$ per hour srsly just gtfo and stay in ur country

  • @KFCTEMPTATION lmao yeh shitty indians should just go put elephant tusks up der arse

  • @KFCTEMPTATION NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS WERE THE FIRST SETTLERS IN THIS COUNTRY. Open a textbook and look at the pretty words. They may give you some information. Oh, you may not be able to read...I'm sorry!

  • Stunning.

    Brialliant.

When the pipes come in at 1:50 it's just *epic*....

This version of the song is just more of a very, very good thing.

  • Peace to all Nations - written here from Hamburg, to the World

  • Beautiful. Reminders of the Rocky Mountains north.

  • I would fight any war as long as those pipes are calling me home. <3 You Scotland ^.^

  • The Celts rock

  • one word: EPIC

  • lets all calm down, and eat twinkies or perform the end scene of bruno together!

  • oi...amazing how a song can bring up such hard feelings. listen peeps, i'm american( well, a proud coonass louisiana mutt) and i love my country with a great passion, but i've got no hard feelings about the past. how can i? my ancestors hailed from germany, england, ireland and france! some native and black in there too! the past is done, and it isn't like we americans are innocent. slaves. the kkk, iraq, prejudices. you name it. but i still love it, and also other countries and their people.

  • u know what...im english...but i live in scotland...i grew up with scottish history and alot of beatings for having a diferent accent n all that shite...but i love the scot's, I don't think there is another peoples out there who love their country, their land and their heritage more thne the scot's...this...is by far one of my favourite ever song's...n like i said...i'm english...but listening to this makes me proud to have grown up with a scottish background!

  • Please remember that the bagpipes anrent just Scottish just like tartan, its a Celtic instrument, used in galicia, wales, the basque region ect

  • @Thackerism when u say tartan you speaking about the mongol descendents?

  • @RDStylez obviously not...

  • @RDStylez Tartan is the kilt design. You're thinking of Tartars.

  • Comment removed

  • @Thackerism Actually (and I already know there are going to be some hardcore nationalists that are going to be upset but can't really avoid them anyway), the bagpipe is an instrument that was spread across Europe (including the Holy Roman Empire, Sicily, the Balkan). It is generally believed by most historians to have originated in the area of the Balkan, Turkey or what, today, is Iran and Iraq. It just survived longest with the Irish tribes (the Scots came from Ireland to Scotland).

  • as a ascotsmen when u hear the bagpipes doing this the hairs on your neck stand on end! think how william wallace and robert the bruce and the jacobite rebellion must have felt going into battle with the english with the pipes blaring behind them! fearless!!

  • its hard to believe that a couple of my friends dont like this song

  • Love this tune! The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are awesome on this, love all their music, Stay Safe guys, God Bless you all xx

  • I was part of the Durban Tattoo in 1995 where the Scots DGs first attempted the very percussive version of this song - with the Zulu drummers from an SADF Infantry Battalion. It holds special memories for me...

  • In swedish it's called "Den siste mohikanen"

  • This makes me wanna take a vacation and hike the Carolina mountains.

  • @PimpyMcHoSmack Hell Yeah!!

  • This makes me feel at peace . Excellent song. The bagpipes add a profound and even kind of a powerful effect . I love it.

  • The British Empire continues through Britain and through it's child, the USA! Nothing can stop us united as we have seen in World War I and World War II.

  • fantastic

  • HUA

  • Just Love it...; )) Peace

  • thank you for all your work and hell yes

  • God Bless the BRITISH EMPIRE. AND OUR TROOPS OUT IN AFGHAN.

  • @WorldFrontlineMedia The "Empire" is well gone my friend. But yes god bless the troops

  • @858251 The Empire is Never gone in British Hearts & Minds, we still have that British fighting spirit, and still have many traditions from the Empire around today in the British Army

  • @WorldFrontlineMedia the legacy of the Empire lives on, the batton has just been passed on to the "oldest child"/natural successor - The USA. Long may it continue......

  • I wish more of the population of Britain were like you

  • i love The Gael its the best songs ever ..even better when played by the black watch ! ..i'm byest because my uncle players in the black watch lolz

  • Can anything stir a mans such as like the glory of the bagpipes in full throat.

Awe inspiring it must have been to witness its use on the battlefield.

    Worth a dozen Generals.

  • My Indian Plumber Chief Running Water really likes this tune

  • my heritage is scotland but I hate the celtics. go lakers..

  • Well I'm finally able to play this song the way it appears in this version. Here's to my heritage!

  • I read somewhere that the Bagpips had the power to raise a man from his death bed and march to the battlefield to give his last measure. I belive that with all my heart. Like many, Im decendent of the Scots and am Very Proud of that. Though my vains courses the blood of Nobles and Clans, of Kilts and Fair Maid'n. Of Wallace, and Bruce, of a heritage stong and pure as the Scottish Lion!! Stay Proud and Keep the Colors A'Flyin

  • Lovely version!!

  • Többféle feldolgozás de ,mindegyik nagyon szép.

Ez a eredeti.Szomorú történet fűződik hozzá....

    Mindenki lehet utolsó ......

last of the mohicans - royal scots dragoon gaurds (the gael)

    Megható!

  • i am a bit shy but let me give it a try.this song brings tears to my eye,as i raise my face to the sky and ask the one why i cry

  • My mom's family moved from Scotland to America in 1955 and gave birth to my momma. My dad's side of the family is Choctaw, Native American. I am proud to call myself a Scottish Native American Indian lol! Which means...absolutely nothing. Woot for family roots!

  • @Sarcastic07

If I'm not Who I am , I Must be your brother

  • @Hwitwulf : )

  • @Sarcastic07 the Chieftan of the Cherokee Was a Scot, walk tall walk Free

but most of all, Walk with those, who cannot,,,,,, Walk If you feel your alone, Walk with me, I will show you your Heritage, even until the 20th generation

  • @Sarcastic07 During the French and Indian War the native americans and the Scottish had a very high respect for one another and both are truely remarkable people so I'd say your heritage is indeed something to be proud of.

  • @Seankwondo87 thank you!

  • @Sarcastic07 beat this combination of nations, I'm: Russian German Ukrainian Kazakhstanian French and Italian. I'm like a European smoothie. but it obviously means nothing.

  • @fireworkgalore no it does mean something. It means your a smoothie of European nations : ). You are your own Jamba Juice.

  • i aint Scotchman but i love bag pipes just as much as a Scottish.. would love to be able to down load this bag pipe version of the last of the mohicans song

  • Metals, President Andrew Jackson was Scots-Irish. (Scots-Irish refers to the Scots who passed through Ireland to America.)

  • The Scots-Irish were used on the frointier as a buffer between the whites and the Indians. They were used because they were very fierce fighters. The "settlers" in the movie were a reason to use a Scottish song. My heritage is primarily Scottish but also Native American. One branch of the family does have the Q haplogroup particular to the Indians.

  • @McBeckie proud to say i'm scottish =)=).. funny tho my 2nd name's jackson that is a english or american 2nd name...

  • beautiful music

  • great music

  • why does this film use celtic music when its indians androyal british not celt british haha well not seen this films so cant realy judge :L

  • @joeskelly123 . Because the song in the movie (last of the mohicans) is the gael. a scottish song. the directer of the movie decided to cover it. the song in the movie is abit dif from this tho as it has more indian instruments n sounds to it.,.. plus in a way the scots n the indians connect thru the fact that freedom canot be won.. as its never lost, the land can be tamed, but the people never broken..

  • @MetalsBurden , you are right, funny enough, you find everybody on any side Andrew Jackson was an Ulster-Scot and there was a famous chieftain , John Ross of the Cherokee, many prospectors and trappers got Indian women, and Scots were well educated and could read and write and became representatives of native American tribes, especially John Ross

  • Thanks You for this vid. Beautiful and Inspiring Song.

  • @Souls4Freedom, im sorry! i ment 2 pik the vote UP button. again, sorry:D

  • Thanks You for this vid. Beautiful and Inspiring Song.

  • AAAAHHH!!!!

  • I love this song even more since hearing this version. I am a fine mix of Scottish and Irish with a little Brule Sioux from my great great grandfather, and I'm proud of each little drop of my mixed blood.

  • @nightrider836 interesting you say that, i know a scottish woman whos of scottish, irish and oglala soux descent. Her g.g.g.g grandfather came to scotland in the Buffalo Bills wild west show and a community of soux stayed in scotland and married into the scots.

  • @seonidh I'm not sure which show my gg grandfather was in but he left the show in Scotland and went to Ireland. He was known to say if he went back to the States they would lynch him, I hope he was only joking. My mothers maiden name is Lynch and I'm trying to find out if that is the real name or if it just stuck because of what my old grandpa used to say.

  • @nightrider836 I assure you that Lynch is a common name in Ireland, most people I know come from Monaghan or Donegal, counties of province Ulster/Eire.

  • @mathymarge I kinda thought that by the amount of Lynch names in Ireland I still have to research GG Grandpapy's Sioux name. Everybody who could have helped

are of course dead now. I'll have to go through the Brule Sioux records from 1880 on to find out who left in one of these shows. I know that a lot of native Americans from these shows stayed in Scotland but he moved on to Ireland.

  • @mathymarge on one side of my fam it link off of the surname Mccrow ( my mums side ) my 2nd name's jackson tho that i'm sure aint a scottish name.. i know it aint in a clan .. think my rels were originaly scottish but changed their name in america until they moved back..

  • @MetalsBurden , well, surprisingly I find ( in an old book of Scottish surnames, published by " Scotland on Sunday"-newspaper) that the name "Jackson" was prominent in Glasgow and Aberdeen in the 15th century. I also find that Maccrow -sometimes Maccroy- come under CLAN Macrae. Maybe that helps, greetings

  • @mathymarge cheers =)=).. helped =). an yeh i know of the macrae part cuz some of my rels still stay up in he central belt area where they've been since the beginning.

  • ths makes you so proud to be scottish

  • @advancedwindows why does everyone presume bagpipes represent scotland?

  • @jessie11982 because they do..sure there were many types of pipes from different areas of europe but the only people that adapted it and integrated it into their culture were the scots

  • @jessie11982 Because realistically, humans are stupid

  • @BataFatCat That is a major understatement.

  • @pmankillinspree Trust me man, what kinda fucking species kills its own habitat and nukes each other over illusionary shit without caring for what really matters?

  • @BataFatCat Quit pointing blame on 1 particular country, every single heritage in the history of mankind is responsible for some incredibly fucked up shit, it's easy to watch TV and just point out the most popular ones.

Shit.. black people used to enslave Jews for thousands of years but they bitch about how we enslaved them? uh no, your ancestors enslaved each other and sold them to us.. it's not our fault that were opportunistic.

wake up people, you're all lost.

  • @4Xiox20 what were the jews used for? I'm not sure there are any great african civilizations around, typical jews.. didnt work for the nazis in their camps maybe africans killed them also. nazi negroes......"dun dun duuuun"

  • @MrJambones I think, and I'm just taking a random guess, that he meant the Egyptians. A rare misconception that I see every so often.

  • @ChaoticHypocracy good to see someone with some intelligence on youtube. Why do alot of people think egyptians were black? their not lol never were.

  • @MrJambones More than likely because Egypt is in the northernmost edge of Africa, which is why they AREN'T black, consequently. It's also why Rome was able to locate and conquer them.

  • @advancedwindows damm right, the bagpipes get me every time.

  • @advancedwindows

We let them down i am so not proud to be Scottish then the next war we brought down the American's Tax's which caused another war

  • @advancedwindows

    or Mohican.

  • @advancedwindows Now in this case it makes me want to be scottisch :P Beautifull record (at 4 am)

  • This tune has really become an all time classic O.O :)

  • Comment removed

  • sounds great, I think we should be joining with other nations and taking and giving the best of our cultures and becoming one country called earth.

  • @buidseach and all become communists too?

  • Bagpipes rule!!!!!!!

  • @Redbaron011 If no countries had been colonized by others, perticuarlly by Britain, the world as we know it today would be completely different. Not nesessarily for the better.

  • @fullonforce

If no countries where colonized by others there would have been more freedom. But the countries would still be in the stone-age.

Personally i think freedom weighs more in this. But thats just me.

  • @fullonforce usa would have been better. my native people suffered because of your douchebag european ancestors.

  • Comment removed

  • @fullonforce hmm...interesting thought..but think, if the arabs or chinese wud hav conquered europe in the middleages, we wud be 500 years further and not have wasted the middleages

  • Beautiful! <3
