@trishabrd - Thanks Trisha. I remember making a similar comment myself some time back. I like a good story. We don't know who this person was but she certainly was popular......until she left!
@Ottawarocket - Sad, Rocket. I bet the uptown kids had cream on their cereal. You sure that granary seeds stuck in your throat? Thanks for the kind comment, bro.
@JazzEthics - Shenadoah? Wide missouri. Michael row the boat ashore. River deep. Yes I once bought a kids book with the Erie Canal song illustrated and the music in the back. Hmmmm? Thanks Lar.
First I thought that picture would never change. Good I´ve been patient and at least watched the second Geoff playing his wonderful blues harp for some moments. You are allround talented Geoff. Playing guitar and blues harp, singing and video editing - busy busy - respect! S-)X
@SabMei1 - Thank you for being so patient, Sabine. Yes perhaps with so much time on my hands I could have tried to copy Frank's magical editing. Did you notice how my shadow falls across the picture and makes it look like it is behind me? I didn't realise that until after the video was completed! C);-D x
@coolanddark - Thanks for the memory Dan. My folks used to sing with us but mainly hymns and especially Carols at Christmas. We'd wash the dishes together and sing harmonies. - About the nearest we got to The Waltons.
Dad was a bugler in his early army days and I remember him playing the Last Post when someone brought a bugle to the house later in life. My folks never encouraged my guitar playing. Probably thought it would turn me into a long haired hippy layabout. Come on! lol
Eccelente! Dolcissima la canzone!
Bellissima la voce! Congratulazioni!

There's always "old man River"left ...or here's one that's technically not a river but functions in the same way... Erie Canal.......
