  • My cat would have killed then in an instant!

  • People who have "indoor" cats should be charged with animal cruelty. Get a stuffed animal and leave real animals alone.

  • Lazy cats

  • Damn crows! I'd shoot em wita bbgun!

  • out door cats are also responsible for depletion of song bird population. "Cats" are a domestic animal, not supposed to be out in the natural world...where their predation causes alot of harm to native species...as well as overpopulate cats because owners are too damn lazy to nueter them. And many of these "wild" cats do lead short brutal starvation lives.

  • @amyhinmn Just because they are domesticated It doesnt mean that they cant survive In the wild. My friends cat was gone for half a year and then came back. My cats may wander off wherever they want, and there arent any problems with them. And I'd rather live a short and fun life (outdoor AND indoor cat) than a long and boring life(indoor cat). Indoor cats arent able to silence their predatory instincts like free cats do, Its better to let it live its own life. If not, then get a dog!

  • Wild cats prefer to be outside, often, while indoor cats prefer it indoors. If a cat does not get cancer in any form(mostly females) they can live quite long up to even 20. The oldest cat ive ever had got to 19. Diabetes killed him. In the last few months of his life he first got blind then one day fell into a coma.

  • lol @ when the bird yanks the plane away... 1:25

  • they just wanted something to eat too! i love cats and crows. they are smart

    and loving.

check out cat and crow are friends video.

    unique friendship.

  • Not only do I do a lot of cat rescue and have seen what the outdoors can do (weather aside, there are cars, nasty people, predators, other cats, all kinds of things), I also volunteer for a wildlife rehab center and we get all kinds of animals (adults and babies) injured by cats. That is not only unfair to us when you casually let your cat out, but it isn't fair to the wildlife. And don't say it's nature, because it isn't, cats are domesticated. Indoor/outdoor cats aren't eating to live.

  • @amyhinmn indoor cats are gross cruel and inhumane. domesticated cats were domesticated to roam outside near t he property to kill pests like rats, moles, gophers, birds. they are protectors of gardens and homes. not stupid indoor pets.

  • @randall642 I'm done with this thread, my last response. You just don't get it and you aren't open-minded enough to consider anything else. While you *might* be right about initial domestication (although it isn't the whole story), since then humans moved them to areas with EXTREME temperatures. Also, over time, hazards (human and otherwise) are much more prevalent than on a family farm. Besides, the family farm of yesterday was not bliss for cats, I have seen what happens in rescue. IT'S HARSH.

  • @randall642 Not to mention that people who use them for "rodent control" tend to not spay/neuter or appropriately care for them, and this is NOT natural, leads to inbreeding, disease, and out of control numbers. Since domesticating cats originally occurred, THINGS HAVE CHANGED. NOW WE KNOW BETTER. Just like with slavery, women's inability to vote, etc. etc., WHEN WE KNOW BETTER WE DO BETTER. Tradition or saying "it's always been this way" is lazy and dumb.

  • With facts and data, you cannot look at your own experience or that of others you know, those are called testimonials. You need to look at the preponderance of data, and indoor/outdoor cats die much earlier than indoor only. Not only that, they can get fleas/worms and a host of other things, not to mention that they are hunting wildlife needlessly due to their hunting instinct and not a need to survive. It is simply irresponsible, my cats go outside with my supervision only, as it should be.

  • @amyhinmn i bet your cat fucking sucks and hates you and no one likes it but you

  • I hope you are kidding. Cats are domesticated, and do not belong outside. They are not equipped to survive extreme temperatures, and can become victim to many hazards. I do a lot of rescue, and the cats living outside, whether tame or wild, are always bad off. The average indoor/outdoor cat lives 4 years, while the average indoor cat lives 13 years. Nuff said.

  • @amyhinmn Our cats lived to 13 and 15 years been indoor/outdoor cats their whole life. Everyone I know have indoor/outdoor cats and I have never seen seen a cat live under 4 years. I think what you mean by extreme temperatures is stuff below 0C (32F) but the extreme temperatures we get here is between 10-35C (50-95F) and it gets much hotter in the house.

  • @beetle120 i wished you lived under 4 years. cat fucker.

  • @amyhinmn your a idiot

  • @marvelstryfe uh, yeah, i am clearly the idiot when you have no intelligible argument and you use the wrong form of "your". way to have an open mind and an intelligent discussion, moron.

  • @amyhinmn

Its also much healthier for the cat to be outside.

  • @amyhinmn i had a cat tat was indoor/outdoor that lived till 19. and she killed crows when she was young

  • @amyhinmn Hey, fuck you... Nuff said.

  • @amyhinmn I had an indoor/outdoor cat that lived for 17 years. he lived in 2 different states and we moved 6 times while we owned him. Needless to say he was a badass. RIP Simba.

  • @amyhinmn I hope you are kidding. Trolls are domesticated, and do not belong on the internet. They are not equipped to survive extreme facts, and can become victim to many truths. I see a lot of things, and the trolls living inside, wether child or adult, are always bad. The unknowing troll says things so stupid you would swear they were a troll, while the true troll is just a retard. Nuff said.

  • @cope2k Way to open your mind to new ways of thinking. I am not a troll. I am an animal advocate. I am not a retard, a word that should not be used and shows your level of intelligence; in fact, I have my doctorate! E-V-O-L-V-E dummy. To those of you who said, "I had a cat that lived __ years outside. That is a testimonial and you do not understand the scientific method, evidence, or statistics. Of course there will be those cases, but the average life span of an indoor/outdoor remains 4 years!

  • @amyhinmn in most cases that my friend is not always true -.-smh

  • @amyhinmn Well said. Unfortunately it seems that many of the comments here are from uneducated dimwits. Facts can stare them in the face and they still think they know better. What I find sad is that the low intellect of most of the cat owners here makes them think their domestic cat deserves the freedom to kill native animals outside.

  • @amyhinmn my cats are indoor and outdoor and there 8 years old !

    pwnd

  • Bullshit

  • Here's an idea: After the cats are done eating, leave out some more cat food and put the cats inside. You can then sit on the porch with an air rifle of your choosing and dispatch the the crows. Here's the best part!-- Cook up the crow meat and feed it to the cats! They'll wonder what they did to deserve such a treat! Be sure to get it all on film.

  • hmm thats a good idea lol.

  • frikkin crows stole the cats didder????!!!!! omg

  • when you feed a cat it doesn't have to hunt anymore.

  • my cat is fed on catfeed (not the 16%meat ones from local stores for 99p xD) and still hunts outside, in fact my cat hunted 2 rabbits in front of my eyes and both times she brang them INSIDE of the house through semi opened window xD

  • it depends how wild they are still. my cat i got when she was 4weeks old has never caught anything, but my cat i got when he was 8weeks old catches stuff alot.

  • @randall642 You would not know how much they catch or even injure. Don't let them outside.

  • @ernis1100 cats will hunt, it's their instinct. It doesn't mean you should let them outside to do so! Have some empathy for your local wildlife and KEEP YOUR CAT INSIDE.

  • this video had no piont, y didnt i see feathers flying everywhere??? and i dont mean a freindly pillow fight! if you wanna see something funny with a cat, put 1 in a bird cage, i did it and hung him up and let a golden retriever and black lab in the room. now thats funny! p.s. i wanna see how many thumbs down i can get from the poopoos and thumbs up from the coolios

  • By the way the other cat died from a stroke a while later. Both the cats lead long and happy life's. Our new cat Oscar cases the crows so unfortunately no new videos.

  • I personally do not agree with letting cats outside unsupervised. If you are supervising them directly and then they come inside, great.

  • @beetle120 Cats don't die from strokes, and you would never know if they did. He/she probably died from something else. I thought you said they all live super long lives? If you got a new cat, that is your chance to NOT condition them to going outside, they will never know what they are "missing". Or, you could take them out only with you, and supervise them.

  • Why are your old cats outside in the first place?

  • Both of the cats enjoyed been outside, they used to lay in the sun after there meal.

  • because cats belong outside

  • Gee, that's progressive thinking. No, they don't. Do dogs? No? Cats are just as social as dogs and need human protection and companionship, UNLESS they are born outside from day one and feral.

  • cats and dogs should always sleep inside but during they day they should be let outside. they need the exercise and its cruel to trap an animal indoors for long periods of time.

  • I could not disagree more, and I am sure the wildlife outside couldn't either. Cats needlessly kill other creatures. In addition, cats are vulnerable to cruelty from humans, poisoning, predators, diseases, parasites, etc. Also, I am sure your neighbors don't appreciate your cats running all over either. You should update your thinking to this decade, cats who go outside SUPERVISED for a bit each day and have a stimulating home life are happier and live longer.

  • I don't know, my cats lived to be about 13 and 16 and they were regularly let outside.

  • Well, our first pair of cats lived to almost 17 years, both were probably 80% outdoor / 20% indoor pets. Out dog lived to 16 and was never let inside.

Our second generations of pets all live the same though our Pug stays mostly inside do inpart to being so small and dumb. =P

  • ma cat does whatever she wants. catflap ftw

  • Haha, awesome.

But we have raccoon and possums, and they'll come right in no problem. =]

  • ahhhh i seeee. another cat keeps coming into our house and eating her food. damn wimp cat lolz

  • Haha, yea cats can be surprisingly tolerant of other animals.

And yea, one summer we left the door open with the screen door shut... and a racoon RIPPED the screening down and tore open the the garbage can and made a mess in our kitchen. =]

  • whoaa crazy. live in uk so not much of that :P

yee the other cats miles bigger than ehr as well which i think helps :P

love how cats just think they're superior though it's brilliant.

  • same, goes ouutside to hunt for a week and comes back with a rabbit with a mole or some birds (that was my first time seing a mole xD)

  • @wonderboy2402 Why even have animals if you don't let them inside!??? There is a REASON they are called companion animals! You idiots who get dogs/cats and leave them outside, so dumb. I don't care if you were raised this way either, think about what you are doing and decide for yourself! Dogs and cats crave human interaction, and you cruelly ignore them and leave them outside while you go about your busy life. Jerk.

  • @amyhinmn Whats wrong with cats living outside?

  • Maybe someone should do the same to you.

I swear, everyday shows me more and more reasons to promote eugenics.

  • I enjoyed the video. Sorry about Tibi.

  • Crows are so smart for their own species. I'm surprised that them crows didn't show up with their lunch bibs on around their neck.

  • both the cats and the crows are smart!..the cat did not bother chasing and it is really cool how the other crow grabbed the end of the paper and dragged it away!

  • cats are just to smart waste energy when they no the birds will never be any harm to them

  • dude u need to get a new cat to kill those cheaky bastard crows!!!

  • Sadly the gray cat, Tibby, died a few weeks ago due to it's old age. RIP Tibs.

  • Wow, those cats are really old.

  • surprised cat never had 2 birds for dinner

  • Interesting how Australian crows have a deeper sound in their crowing sound - remember this from Mad Max.

  • that cat was either scared, full up, fed up or couldnt be arsed.

  • Seriously. Birds have gotten really ballsy lately.

  • have you seen that movie: THE BIRDS!! LOL

  • those crows have balls of steel.
