  • This is cool bro! A wee tip though is to maybe hang an old Duvet or thick curtains etc inside the wardrobe ! This will stop the sound reflecting back out ! Give it a try dude ! Peace Ye`All from Scotland !

  • is your girl? wtf? is that a girl or a guy???

  • how do u connect a mixer to a interface

  • lol

  • "DAW(Adobe Audition,Cakewalk) $100 or free through most torrent sites"

    trollface.jpeg

  • mxl 990 sucks ^^ , i bought it i sold it ;-)

  • Got Crack??

  • all you need... 1 computer...1 soundcard...1 audio recording software... 1 mic... pair of studio monitors... instruments of your choice whether they are acoustic, electric, to be completely honest as long as you have the acoustics right & just as importantly your mics right- your good to go with just that you don't need a mixer that can be done by your software, you don't need any external equipment other than what is listed here. all they do is add more sparkle. but you have to know your stuff.

  • u gonna havin a stand u know wat i meen

  • i know its not the education that counts its the person and there artistic view on things but plz learn your basics B4 you put a video up. ( like acoustics and proper placement )

in all im sure shes still making some great shit. just not at a professional level.

  • YO IM DJ KOOLAID MANE FROM 361 TEXAS SLOWIN% CHOPPIN SHIT DOWN LIKE SOUM SALET.. BUT THAT SHIT WAS JAMMIN HARD.. TELL THAT FU MAKE SUM MO MIXTAPEZ..

  • this is hilarious. 'they gave me these headphones. they g..... these aint the headphones they gave me GOD DAM!!' you can close the doors on that if yo into that"

  • this is hilarious. 'they gave me these headphones. they g..... these aint the headphones they gave me GOD DAM!!'

  • Those are DJ headphones... awful in a studio. That MXL mic should NEVER be used in a studio. Those monitors are decent but they don't matter in a room like that.

Unless you are a REAL audio engineer you should go to a REAL studio. We (real engineers) studied laws of science in sound and a lot more. I went to college for audio engineering. That's what you pay for at a studio. You pay for the engineer.

  • @DeadlyMixKrew there are a lot of ppl who dnt go to school to learn engineering but can still create some great mixes the degree is not important its the persons ear for music and sound. I am a recording artist and I am gonna set up my own home studio which I will record from there. When I do would you be interested to hear what they end up sounding like? (by the way I know about acoustics and positioning your monitors properly)

  • yall faget get off her pussy u nut sukaa its betta than a tape rekorda bitch

  • you fucking idiot.

    it^s called an interface!

    it's called a DAW!

and you don't even need rockits if you just do this shit!

  • Shut the f*ck off pussy nerd, u don't know nothing about recording, pussies like you think I'm a producer with Computer, mouse, QWERTY keyboard, soundcard and a behringer mixer yeahh rightt.

  • This makes me a little angry GRRRR

  • i have the ua 4 fx.its pretty good.but mine fell and got fucked up.it sux

  • yeah yo i use to use adobe...lol i know dats right

  • man stop talking like you're a mugger.. you have good intentions regarding this video but you sound like a muggers about to ask for my wallet man o.O

  • If you don't like a persons setup keep it to yourself. From what I have seen 90% of the time it's being heard by the right people at the right time. Anything that will stop kids from trippin and banging, I'm wit it. My 17 yr old I put his stuff together and my house is always full. The only thing I made him learn Pro Tools and Logic Pro because there are industry standard. I didn't want him going into a studio of quality and having to clue about producing and using hardware and software.

  • shutt up man you dont know what r u talking about

ta geulle man tu ne sais rien de koi tu parles

  • i only hear the sound where r u?!

  • i have the whole MXL set and that shit was like 5 bandz i dont understand what was 69 dollars...

  • what a shit soundcard

  • @joselchino the edirol is pretty good. sure, its not a fireface, but it has its qualities

  • the backround music kinda sounds like dogs barking.... or something annoying, doing something annoying...

  • Yo LML

    He said

"Its Your Girl Yung c Dot" but he's a boy

  • Keep working, what you do is original so keep it that way...

  • At least it is'nt just a computer.... but she could do so many things to improve their recording quality... and yes, your monitors are set up wrong

  • monitors are terrible, not set up right. mic is low quality. Audio interface is obsolete. I'm sure you think this is a good vid. but its not.

  • Lol at desktop background so gangsta haha

  • @SebAddison1 correction.. YALL... lmfao

  • i kinda liked it. but it wuld prob sound cleaner wit sound proof

  • music sounds horrible!

  • FUCKING DISGUSTING! YOU SUCK SO MUCH.

  • I have mtx v67 mic,and m-audio mobile pre interface.It sounds like shit!The plosives,and it has much fuzz.

    I still like ya video!

  • pretty eyes:) ill buy you some new headphones

  • How Did You Make you Adobe Audition look like dat dats killer I use ProTools & Acid 6.0

  • they was only fo-hundred dawlaz.

  • yo one this video pointless 2 just cause you bought a package off the internet does not make you a producer and to buy cheap equipment or ghetto rig anything in the studio is a waste of time do it right cause if you dont it will show in your music and cheap equipment is like goin to the dollar store yea its only a dollar but why is it a dollar rehtorical question 3 all these comments you got plus mine its advice and to those who think its that ez or cheap "wake up" and do it right or dont at all

  • ignorant

  • олень!

  • Umm. No offence, but the purpose of having incredibly high-end studio monitors is kind of defeated by putting them in a terrible sounding room. You have parallel walls, no acoustic pannels, and no diffusion. Really, that room will sound terrible, so basically any "studio" speakers you put in it will sound the same. You dont need $400 for speakers—I'm guessing that the room will stop sounding better around $200 for a studio pair.

Also, congratulations on showing us your pirating collection lol

  • Urkle!

  • speak english u fucking homo

  • y is everybody hating? shes just tryin to help some ppl out by showing a low costing studio for people who dont got a lot of money. the closet isnt for acoustics, its for space, she cant put her monitors farther apart because her desk is too small. her mixtape sounded good so stop hating, post constructive criticism, and about money for things she "needs", y dont u go out and buy it for her or stop being an ass

  • @Robot0Ninja is it a she? I cant tell haha.

  • haha "recording studio" haha you might as well just download some free beats because with this type of music it really doesnt involve any musical skill. i mean you could seriously just use the sound recorder that comes with windows. hahahaha a recording system that has any true merit takes much more than this. where is your bass?? where is your drums??? where is your guitar???

dont mean to beat on your "art" but damn... damn

whats this world of music coming to... tisk tisk

  • @logancbeeman this is a hip hop studio, obviously they dont need a drum set, let alone a guitar or bass. they use virtual instruments aka VST's. you obviously know nothing about a studio because if u did u would know about these. using these instruments takes as much music theory and just as good ear. u still have to know about scales, notes, keys, everything. your whole comment sounds like its coming from some idiot that watched a couple studio videos and thinks he knows everything, tisk tisk.

  • @logancbeeman lol do you have any idea what you're talking about? i mean this dudes doing dirt cheap bottom line quality, but saying recording and producing hip hop doesn't take skill? lmfao go home dude

  • @evers0true making this music, and i use this term lightly, takes about as much skill as using Microsoft word.

  • flavaaaaa flaaaaaaaaaav!!!!

  • y is ur headphones more than ur mic nd ur mixer??

  • people take studio making serious they have a lounge with tv food ps3 and stuff for artist to chill.

  • i would have invested more on the mic that those headphones! if you've got the rokit pair, don't gotta invest that much on mixing headphones

  • for like 2 seconds i thought it was a guy...until she said "its your girl" LOL

  • @chilidog1001 i thought the same thing, lol

  • no it's the most cheap way.

  • Lol

  • Crap gear and crap vid!

If you dont know your shit dont go and make a vid and post it.

Might just blow smoke out of your ass dude!

  • Totally distorted recording

  • 200 fo a pair of headfones?!

niga if you got money learn how to spend it

  • idiot black man

  • @drakensoul85 lol its a woman i think hahahahaha

  • Nice vid, think I'll stick to Logic 9. Mixtape sounds hot though.

  • put the monitors 3feet away from each other at least, so and you ears to make an equal-side triangle

  • This is hilarious. "God Dammmmmn!"

  • I got the same Rockit speakers and they were $150 each.

  • joouuu wazzup

  • You're high dude. Pass that shit here :-)

  • If you are working on a budget ( or no budget for that matter ) You can go to a thrift shop and pick up some old mattress and rip the stuffing out of them to line your walls . You can even drape some heavy blankets to kill the background noise while you record .

  • I hope u found a way to dampen your room cuz you can hear the echo of your room even in your song.

  • those headphones are shit.

  • Nigga u stuhhhhpiiiid

  • hey thats whats up!

what u recoment to hook up my turn tables and my mixer and my keybord and my mic . to hook it all up to record in a sofware

  • ok ok where are the mixtapes? i don't see any tapes dood. why i always hear artists say mixtape when they dont even actually use tapes? but if you use mixtapes and you want good sound FOR CHEAP use a good VHS/VCR recorder with highQ tape on HIGHSPEED rate with 2CHANNEL. subsonic and beyond audible ranges will SAVE on them. (analog in other words stores beyond digital, and costs cheaper). but yeah, i love roland too. have fun.

  • @pamaspamas

you still living in the 90's dude

  • @djzikario heh, more lke the 80's actually. i don't use vhs, but imentioned it for those kids in ripped up wor down clothes that can hardly afford a loaf of bread or even a home pc, they can use vhs recorders for ultimate sound for PENNIES! like the title of this vid says... "for cheap", gutterly cheap that is. i need not point out the latest laptop pc stuff, no point in it, that stuff is obvious for those involved with their midi... have fun! livin in NOW... lightyears from home...

  • @schijtmalsi she just said it's ya GIRL t dot

  • "somebody done got me for my headphone" ...smh.

  • what kind of mic do you use

  • damn only 400 dollars? yall must have big money shit erybody ain't got money like dat.

  • Thanks...your video is very helpful.

  • Dillio?

  • you cant just buy a computer and monitors and know how to produce quality recordings...

  • @XXxESPxXX True it takes some skill

  • @XXxESPxXX your right

  • @XXxESPxXX lmfao... im sayin

  • Hedphones. Wun peh dunn walked up utta hear! i dun payd fo hunned dollas fo these speekuhs.

  • and this is why no one respects the iggnorant

  • good video!

  • lol i hate when people bogart the studio

  • good jub forget the haters...everybody gotta start somewhere.nice set up i remeber when i started out like this....but as you progress you will get it all together...much love one

  • nice man....i got my own studio hehe

  • Where are ya from??? Planet Earth???

  • I'm feeling your recording studio, man. Too bad I don't got that dough u spent.

  • Yall need to chill out dude is trying to give real good info to real inspired artist that don't have all that cash to spend on the expensive stuff like me...... and don't know what to buy that's cheaper I 4 one like and enjoyed this vid and the info that was given thank you.............

  • Made me laugh for the day.

    Thanx dumbass!!!

  • I usually buy my stuff on Guitar Center but Muscician's friend is way better. I guess Ill start buying my stuff from there thanks.

  • do all people who make music sound like this guy as they seem to on YT :)))

  • jesus christ keep your hands still....and position your monitors correctly, you're gonna hear shit if they're that close

  • omg we so love ur home studio !!!!!!!!!!

  • Holey SHIT? U spent THAT much...? wow? & here is me.. thinkin my OLD 1960 7 70's junk cost me - too much & U spent that & more... just on peripherals? (But Ur PC cost u a lot more than U lettin on- AND DIDN'T INCLUDE in ur pricing (but said it's a MUST HAVE?) - Must have/ what U mean? Don't need no PC... for MIX TAPING- USE TAPE

  • Haha, Nice vid, Im looking into getting that microphone, like the setup!

  • You have KRK's but you don't know how to place them correctly - typical...They are TOO CLOSE to each other, you need more space around them, you need a bigger room dude! Otherwise it's simple waste of the money...I see nothing on the walls which means you're room isn't really ready for any condenser microphone:) Those are basic things only...

  • usb only does so good in quality u have to have an interface

  • lol i like this

  • somebody done got me LMFAO u stupid lol

  • r u ca get a usb condencer mic 4 like 100$ save bunch of cash cuz u dont need da box its plung and play

  • usb mics suck dnt do it

  • Not all USB mics suck. For instance, Samson C01U or C03U mics are quite impressive for the price. Of course, USB mics are not supposed to be used for a home studio. They are mostly for people who want to record their voice or an instrument, get reasonable sound quality and be able to easily plug the mic whenever it's needed.

  • Get a tripod.

  • u so funny..thats not the headphone sobody done got me for my head phones go dam god dam lmao

  • Say thanks for the help cuz im broke and only 15.I make beats from Dallas.Check em out on my channel. Thanks alot im going to the music store to check it out.

  • Whats the point of recording in a closet if it doesn't have any acoustic treatment?

  • exactly< there iz no reason 2 record in a closet if there iz no kind of acoustics treatment, especially if yall are gonna have the doorz open. and im pretty sure that if they got the speakers bangin< there iz gonna be feed back from the speakerz in your microphone.

  • they use the headphones while recording and the speakers for playback

  • i only put the mic in the closet so it can have its own space... and maybe you didnt see but the headphones can only go a certain distance. it was convenient for me to put it in the closet. sometimes its out in the open, it has nothin to do with sound sir!!!!

  • aite i undastand dat. but u didnt say dat n da video

  • @gardencityent whats the name of that sound card

  • pmsl so funny

  • @TheRadOreo to sound terrible

  • do you have to have a sub woofer or do the monitors get good bass response

  • Yeah, I agree - the Edirol UA-4 interface is quite good and very inexpensive for what it does (though the effects are redundant, useless even). I use a portable Edirol mixer instead of hooking any instrument to the interface. The problem is that I can't get the digital cable connection working and am forced to record track per track, individually via Sonar. Any hints on what is going astray here? cheers, s., rio.

  • i use adobe soundbooth CS3

  • damn right boi!!!!

  • thanks for the video....this is one of the most helpful video ive seen thanks for the tips

  • usually you have to go to the settings in you recording software and set the audio to go to your interface instead of coming through the computer. what software do you use to record and i'll tell you?

  • i recommend audacity

  • i got a question i need answered asap so if anybody knows this please respond......

i am setting up my home recordin studio and i need to buy one of those audio interface soundcard boxes and i need to know after u get everything hooked up how do u record with the beat??

  • HEADPHONES

  • NO SHIT!!!

but how do u get the beat from the computer to the interface?

  • depends on ur software

  • thanks for this vid

  • LOL! You crack me up big time. Quite a funny fella. On a serious note though this is a pretty good video. I don't have the space to do it right now but when I have a place of my own in the future I hope to build a cheap recording studio in it too.

Good video man, it'll help out a lot. :)

  • your welcome..if you have any question you can hit me in the inbox!!!!! And subscribe to the page if you have time

  • Thanks, I been looking for a video like this for a while. You don't understand how much I appreciate this.

  • That would probably be a good option. Behringer usually makes good products at a very decent price. Let me know how that works if you get it!!!!
