Aye! Another good job! You probably know this, but the AT&SF 2900s were the same design as the 3700s, just made of heavier metals. Up the tractive effort a little bit and change the decals to 2925 and you'ld have another killer model ready for the road.
If I am not mistaken Part of the 2900 still lives on!!! The 5 Chime ATSF Whistle that the MILWAUKEE ROAD 261 uses came off of the 2900!!! THE 261 CAN USE THE 5 CHIME ATSF WHISLE THAT WAS LONED OUT TO THE GROUP AS LONG AS THE ENGINE CAN RUN IN SERVICE!!! That is what I have heard from the Crew and I know the Crew VERY WELL!!!!!
These models are projects of mine, and aren't available anywhere yet. The camera is the default #4 view, and the whistle is an actual recording of the one the 3751 used in the early 90's.
Where are all these models coming from? Please please please tell me where to get these. The sound is wonderful. How do you move the camera like that? Please respond to these questions. Thank You In Advance!!!

I have A question.....
(not how you make more-tuned whistles, I know that already....)
How do you make those whistles??
I tried it, with a recorded ".wav" file.
Then the engine blows steam but I don't hear anything........
Do you know what to do??
daltonauto 3 years ago
you have to get the name of the whistle that was on the engine before...and make the new one the exact same name, then it should work
nicholasbreeden 2 years ago
how do you do the more tuned whistles?
isn't it like a quillable whistle?
iinlovejameslafferty 2 years ago
It's in the whistle-script, a bit difficult to explain.....

Like Ron said, please could I beta test some of your locomotives? Possibly your GG1? Or the Greenbrier?

Actually, the 2900's had a different tender, slightly more limber boiler, and did not have the heater (I think that's it.) in front of the smokebox.

The California State Railroad Museum owns #2925 as stored in their collection, and 2921 is on display/restoration in New Mexico.
MarkConductor775 3 years ago
2921 is not in new mexico.your thinking of number 2926 which is in Albuquerque.2921 is on display at a park in Modesto California.
