2) of course you can mashe the buttons in any hack´n´slay game, but DMC tries to decrease it as much as possible at least by the rating system. if you do the same combo all the time , you will never get a good rank. Anyway DMC give you a opportunity to create your own style of fighting (just look at the True Style Tournament).

They've taken quite a few aspects of the game from GoW. But somehow it doesn't feel like a cheap rip-off though. The game seems polished and fun to me.

don't like the "combo" system, part of the things that made castlevania games had was that you had one or two attacks and enemies did not take any hitstun

That part of those Titans is a little bit stolen from Shadow of the last Collossus. Otherwise game seems pretty good, off course combat seems a little bit like GoW, but it's ok.

Some parts of this game bear a strange resemblence to Prince of Persia. The game looks like fun. But wait... a COMBAT CROSS? A FUCKING COMBAT CROSS?

GoW, Prince of Persia, Shadow of the Colossus. Yet the games are so close to eachother already, atleast in my own opinion, this game I won't say is better than those predecessors, it still seems like a refinement of the genre, and looks to be an enjoyable game.

Let's hope it truly is.

It looks alright. But so did Dante's Inferno, and that game was so terrible that half of it was enough. Simple platforming and overpowered attacks, and tbh, this doesn't look very different. But since it's a Castlevania title, I am not gonna hold a grudge, even though it's not even Castlevania anymore. Let's hope it turns out to be a mix between GoW and DMC, aimed for a crowd older than 5.

I think it's odd that this isn't connected to previous Castlevanias, though it shares some characters, and the main character is still a Belmont who wields a weapon called (as stated at 10:07) the Vampire Killer.

My only complaint (which is actually towards most games) is the length. 20 hours just doesn't seem long enough, and I believe this story, and all that they allow you to do could stretch much longer than that.

I REALLY want this game, it has a lot of style, along with beautiful combat.

People talking about graphics all looking the same... This game is made on some of the besttechnology we have, it doesnt get that much better looking right now. That is because they have pretty much perfected the settings they are going for, medievel, dark, action/fantasy stylised. These games look similar because they are all using the best graphic engines, which output the same quality of graphics. God Of War may excell in things like texture quality, but these games look fantastic.
