Ruddock is a very nice fighter just from this and from a few other clips of fights I've seen! Love that smash he uses lol Though he used it sooooo many times in this fight?! I wonder why? Ruddock put up a great effort. He took some big shots and landed some big shots. Tyson should get credit for this performance as well. He was getting nailed, but he came right back with a vengeance. It would be nice to see a heavyweight fight now with this much action.

Um mike wasn't even 30 by this fight, i think this was right before his trial actually, he was around 24-25 by this point but i can clearly see his skills diminished greatly since his early years and his reflexes to dodge a punch were gone, even though the punching power was still there
Tyson was clearly washed up by age 30, as this fight proved. He couldn't knock out a scrub of a fighter in Razor Rudduck. He got frustrated and hit Razor with low blows, tactics he did similar to biting ears and trying to break arms when he knew he couldn't knock a guy out anymore. But from 1986-89, age 23-26, Tyson was unstoppable. But since he had no rival who was considered a great fighter during that time, he'll never be considered the greatest of all time like an Ali.

A good fight. Thanks for posting it. After this performance I was confident that Tyson would beat Hoyfield. Holyfied was not impressive during his first championship reign (Cooper, Holmes, Foreman) + I was convinced that Tyson, Bowe+ or Ruddock would beat him. Similarly Lewis was not impressive during his 1st championship reign either (Tucker, Bruno, McCall) I was convinced had Tyson not gone to prison+ either Lewis or Holyfied fought this Tyson 1991-1993 they would both have been beaten...

Holyfield would have fought Tyson right after Douglas, but Tyson got beat. Then when they fought down the line... Well, we all know. It is what it is. Holyfield didn't get "killed" by Bowe while Tyson was n prison and didn't get "killed" by Lewis like Tyson did after prison. Far as i know Holyfield's never been knocked cold

Desiree Washington is a hero. She refused to take Tyson's money out of court & fought to see justice won. It took the jury a few hours to conclude that Tyson was guilty & she fought & stayed strong to make sure a rich man didn't avoid prison just because he was rich. Tyson is a rapist dog & I'm glad to rotted in jail. Everyone with a daughter, sister or mother has got to know that Washington was a heroine. But I guess you know more than the doctor who examined her or the jury who convicted him.

first time i've seen this fight, brutal, but strangely compelling. First real fighter Tyson came up against, sure Douglas beat the shit of him, but Tyson beat himself, signs in this fight of how to beat him though, if only Ruddock had used his jab more, but man, Tyson got one hell of a chin, ironic that he broke Ruddocks, great fight...christ i hate Don King

Ruddock is a very nice fighter just from this and from a few other clips of fights I've seen! Love that smash he uses lol Though he used it sooooo many times in this fight?! I wonder why? I know it was his trademark but he made it obvious at times when he would use it, and isnt it bad to give that kind of info/rhythm away? Then again I am a novice at boxing and probably did not see a lot of other things in the fight that meant so much more lol

Ruddock put up a great effort. He took some big shots and landed some big shots. Tyson should get credit for this performance as well. He was getting nailed, but he came right back with a vengeance. It would be nice to see a heavyweight fight now with this much action.

Um mike wasn't even 30 by this fight, i think this was right before his trial actually, he was around 24-25 by this point but i can clearly see his skills diminished greatly since his early years and his reflexes to dodge a punch were gone, even though the punching power was still there

Tyson was clearly washed up by age 30, as this fight proved. He couldn't knock out a scrub of a fighter in Razor Rudduck. He got frustrated and hit Razor with low blows, tactics he did similar to biting ears and trying to break arms when he knew he couldn't knock a guy out anymore. But from 1986-89, age 23-26, Tyson was unstoppable. But since he had no rival who was considered a great fighter during that time, he'll never be considered the greatest of all time like an Ali.

Yeah, i mean Ruddock had some ability, but he couldn't finish anybody off. He had Tyson in trouble in their first fight, and then got hit in the mouth and the fight was stopped. And damn, just watch the Morrison fight, he had the Duke in trouble and then went to sleep with a brutal left hook to the face.........I don't think these Tyson fights had anything to do with Rudock losing to Lewis and Morrison, he just wasn't quite good enough to be in the top 5 with Tyson, Bowe, Evander, and Lewis

A good fight. Thanks for posting it. After this performance I was confident that Tyson would beat Hoyfield. Holyfied was not impressive during his first championship reign (Cooper, Holmes, Foreman) + I was convinced that Tyson, Bowe+ or Ruddock would beat him. Similarly Lewis was not impressive during his 1st championship reign either (Tucker, Bruno, McCall) I was convinced had Tyson not gone to prison+ either Lewis or Holyfied fought this Tyson 1991-1993 they would both have been beaten...
