  • BRAZILLLLLL THE BEST FIGHTERS

  • i knew she was gonna get that armbar

  • Comment removed

  • @Gutodobom @nflfogao Achei que só eu tinha achado parecida a voz...

  • GLU GLU GLU ?

  • this is from 05 and I think Fuji would destroy her in grappling now .

  • Bruce Bufner is the adcc announcer.

  • The announcer sounded like Bruce Buffer. ^_^

  • Voz do Serginho Malandro?

  • @gutobodom Pela voz parece o Bruce Buffer.

  • i love kyras guard jumps haha and not making fun of it, its legit

  • Yeah Kyra is an awesome BJJ practitioner but in an MMA cage, my dough is on Fujii to come out victorious. Actually what really amuses me with these clips and rants is the appalling spelling (and grammer) and crazy arguments that arise between folks that have probably NEVER actually been in a cage fight (or a real street fight - very different) and yet feel the need to compare themselves based on what they could do to each other in each.. its just as much fun as the clips themselves...

  • fucking ref walks in view of camera just as she makes crucial transition to triangle

  • @undeadpresident Yeah, I was thinking that, too. Not refs fault, but it still sucks to not really get to see how she transitioned past Fugii's arm.

  • I like megumi but kyra is the best bjj/grappling woman in the world period.

  • What a skilled fighter

  • fuji muji got oooowned

  • was that a "triangle choke and an armbar" submission?

  • If that was MMAKyra would be pretty no more. Still, other sport alltogether.

  • Kyra Gracie's great, she plans on making her MMA debut soon according to Renzo.

  • Pulling someone into guard that way should be disqualified .

  • I wonder how K Gracie would fare in MMA

  • ouch

  • How do you get out if a jiujitsu person grabs you on the ground?

  • Daaaam that was a great submission, Megumi was very lucky not to get her shoulder ripped out. Its prob still fucked though

  • JIZZZZZZZED in my pants!

  • That's brilliant

  • I don't get it. How do they know what to do?

  • i really enjoy both of these guys so this was an interesting video kyra usein the pitstop i just loearned this stuff last week:)

  • The Gracies are just awful people. Good grapplers but god awful human beings

  • Awesome. Megumi is my hero.

  • jiu-jitsu is an ancient art but then exits without respecting the neck or arm. For those who know the history of martial arts

  • @claudiasieben Jujutsu fucking ignorant

  • @ManabeRokuro jujutsu is a stand up fighting style with strikes and throw techinics and some grapples and jiu-jitsu is what u saw in this vid

  • headbutt, eyestab, finished

  • Not even Fujii could survive the the gracie!!!

  • @lindarmusic

she could beat the shit out of her in a fight.

  • @lindarmusic submission changes light like lightening, submission fighers travel to tournament after tournament, they win, they lose but good ones have a greater winnning record than a losing one, nobody goes undefeated.

  • boy do i want kyra to put me in full guard

  • Why did they never take their clothes off?

  • I got all excited when I saw this, thinking it was mma, because usually when two high level grapplers fight it turns into a kick boxing match. At least I got my daily dose of Bruce Buffer. No homo.

  • @k00lguy80 lol @ no homo

  • yr commenting on the comments? not the video?

    yr name's douchbag329.

  • Alguem sabe onde eu posso conseguir uma rouba de submission igual a dela? Eu procurei no site da atama, mas lá não tem nada! Eu estou precisando.. Me ajudem :(

    Beijos

  • nice to see lesbianism is now an olympic event.

  • @MrTonyInchpractice

nice to see stereotypical ignorance shine through on a comments board.

  • @MrTonyInchpractice practising martial arts is a lesbian thing now? your friends must LOVE your clever wit.

  • @Missteree87 jebus, but you must've been cocking trawling for offence if you're willing to vent your splenetic juices on a 6 month old post that's not even on the first page.

i suggest you build yourself a bridge, my dear, and chuck yourself off it.

  • @MrTonyInchpractice Im sure you REALLY don't want a perfect stranger on the internet to jump off a bridge because of a non-offensive reply, do you? Have a great day.

  • @Missteree87 "WHAT ARE WAITING FOR?! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! WH..."

  • if this was mma, megu would have cleaned house.

  • yo ppl need to stfu if you have no clue what is going on or the background of the two fighters, kyra is the better bjj fighter no shit, but if this was going to be an mma fight, megumi would eat kyra alive, when it comes down to who is the better fighter overall, megumi is in another class than kyra

  • All the Gracie's do is jump straight to guard that doesnt work anymore with kicks and punches

  • kyra had a good 15 lbs on her.

  • ..in BJJ Kyra will beat Fuji, but in MMA Fuji would tear Kyra apart.

  • @Dungarth that doesn't make any sense, seeing as how in MMA kyra would win because she's better...

  • @Cl053tgR0w3r ...And you base that on what exactly? Kyra Gracie has absolutely no boxing or kickboxing experience..to be a successful mixed-martial artist you have to be skilled in all areas. If she tried to get into MMA she would have to spend years first learning how to strike.

  • @Dungarth you said Kyra is better in jiu jitsu, therefore you can't say fuji would win in a MMA match

  • @Cl053tgR0w3r ..You do realise that MMA is much more than just Jiu-Jitsu right? If you think people can win championships based on pure Jiu-jitsu then you are rather foolish..people have moved on from the Royce Gracie days. You'd only need to look at the current UFC champions such as Anderson Silva, GSP and Cain Velasquez to understand that they put just as much if not more emphasis on their striking than their Jiu-Jitsu.

  • @Dungarth Lol hey pal, I was arguing semantics. I can see I've got you pretty emotional, so I'm gonna leave it at that.

  • @Cl053tgR0w3r She was certainly better...in 2005. Today it might well be different. Megumi has trained for, and won, more than 20 professional matches since then. That is a crazy amount of experience.

  • @Dungarth The purpose of this statement? In MMA a Bowler would lose to a fighter. In Bowling an MMA guy would loser to a bowler.

In Pool someone who plays pool will win in pool, in wrestling a wrestling will win at wrestling. WHAT DOES MMA HAVE TO DO WITH BJJ???????????????????????????????

  • @HavahdYahdHahrry ..They are both fighting arts but I was just making a point that whilst Kyra is a better grappler hence the better BJJ practitioner ..the world of MMA is more than just the grappling which Megumi Fuji is skilled in and that is why I made that statement...what is the problem?

  • @Dungarth The problem is the stupid analogy, and the potential for abuse. If MMA is more than just grappling, why mention it in a battle of grapplers?

Furthermore, the whole "He lost here but he could win in this" could be applied to almost every competition in history. There is no point in bringing it up.

Go to a grappling tourney, get beaten, and as you walk off the mat say "I could beat you in MMA". Record yourself doing it. In the end you lost, and it has no relevance.

  • @HavahdYahdHahrry ..It has GREAT relevance when you consider that both BJJ and MMA are combative arts, that is the better relevance. However IF I had said Kyra can beat Megumi in MMA but Megumi can thrash her in chess THEN it would be irrelevant ..Now can your brain compute that and understand or do I need to explain it again?

  • @Dungarth "You do realise that MMA is much more than just Jiu-Jitsu right? If you think people can win championships based on pure Jiu-jitsu then you are rather foolish" Thats from you. If MMA is much more than BJJ in terms of complexity why bring it up. Even worse, why bring it up when Megumi loses?

Sounds like something a loser would do. Once again, compete in a grappling tournament, lose, and say "Yeah? I could beat you in MMA if we fought there!" Admit bringing it up is childish.

  • @HavahdYahdHahrry

"WHAT DOES MMA HAVE TO DO WITH BJJ?"

    Lol. Watch UFC 1.

  • @Dungarth story of the gracies in modern MMA

  • @Dungarth who gives a shit

  • @Dungarth maybe yes, but maybe no

  • @Dungarth yeah IF. But the fact is that Kyra collect Fujii's arm...

  • very nice fight, kyra has a amazing basic BJJ.

Megumi Fujii is the queen of MMA.

  • @StylesHope are you serious?? Kira is 3 time World BBJ Champion oh and her last name is Gracie as in Gracie Jiu Jitsu. As in THE Gracie family that STARTED jiu jitsu.

  • @Camaroboys520 As in The gracie family that started BRAZILIAN jiu jitsu is what I think you meant. Jiu Jitsu by itself is a japanese art. But I'm pretty sure you know that.

  • @Camaroboys520 ??????????????????

I know who Kyra Gracie is, are you fucking reatarded ?

  • awww don't cry its just youtube. lol

  • @Camaroboys520 what the fuck you are talking about ?

  • @Camaroboys520 I thought jiu jitsu was shown to Carlos Gracie by Mitsuyo Maeda and was then altered it to suit and benefit his smaller stature. It was then taught to Helio Gracie and friends, thus birthing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu....Wikipedia and stuff for the W!

  • @peeweesherman you may be correct, what i meant was The Gracie family started BJJ

  • doubt kyra could go 22-0 in mma tho

  • @mirask8krew totally agreed..

  • Kya did have 4 inches and 20 lbs on her

  • Brilliant!

  • so kyra won , but u read everywhere that fujji is undefeated in every tournament shes being in??? how does that work?? was this win unofficial or something?

  • @adya1 Actually, she has the perfect win rate in MMA... xD

  • There are a shit ton of Gracies

  • very beautiful girl !

  • kyra is such a babe. I would love to ground and pound her vajayjay.

  • Congrats to Kyra. Big size/weight difference, though.

  • @MangaMoogleMan I think that's just the way Brazilians are...not just the Gracies, I've met so many Brazilians and they all seem to be on overdrive with testosterone

  • im not surprised by the outcome but still kinda wished megumi would have won

  • did she win the womens division?

  • Ryan Gracie, Renzo GRacie, Kira Gracie and Royce Gracie ...

Gracie Family of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu .

  • both good fighters.

  • i think if punching and kicking was allowed ... kyra wouldn't have made it

  • It's awesome how kyra utilizes her legs so well to secure her guard

  • You gotta remember, you're dealing with armchair experts, fella. They're the same sorts who cannot taste delicacies, so they say they're nasty, simply because their taste buds are dead from sugar...

  • megumi is much smaller. also kyra would get killed if they fought in mma.

  • Megumi is way smaller then gracie isn't she?

  • que luta do caralho

  • Megumi wasn't really turtling. She was being pulled down.

Being aggressive from the guard bottom involves breaking the posture of the top person, and keeping them down.

  • @hillerm I meant that Kyra was turtling.

  • Ofcourse that's Renzo you dunces, Kyra IS one of the Gracie's....not exactly rocket science.

  • It's Renzo for sure.

  • honestly it was a good match. i havent seen kyras striking yet so i cant guess who would win in a ring where anything goes. but they were both really good. the more i watch the women fight, the more i feel like the men of this sport could learn alot from watching them

  • @chris3813914

interesting theory granted these fighters are both trained by men

  • @chris3813914 What do you mean? Women's MMA isn't even close to men's MMA right now.

  • essa Kyra Gracie é muito gostosa...queria eu estar trançado com ela aí no ringue, eu gozava bem gostoso em cima dela, afff...

que cruzada de pernas gostoso que ela dá, afff...

  • I swear that's Renzo's voice coaching Kyra.

  • respect on gracieeee megumis sickk train train train.

  • @respectent1 I WISH KYRA WAS MY WIFE AND ILL BEG HER FOR A BLUEBELT

  • The fight was short and sweet, just like Kyra :P haha awesome stuff

  • @AteenagerAndDepressd

I'd like to see her go toe to toe with fujii in full contact...

  • I believe I speak for all of us when I say: I want Kyra Gracie to learn some Muay Thai and do MMA. Also, I want to marry her.

  • You guys are nuts if you don't think weight is an advantage with grappling. Yes, skill does play a part but there's a reason you hardly ever see a lightweight win the absolute division. Even Helio himself said it's ridiculous to think that size and strength aren't major advantages.

That said, obviously Kyra was better in this match regardless of weight.

  • that was pretty bad, the triangle choke looking deal leading to the armbar...love it!!

  • fantastica!!!simplesmente fantastica !!! parabens

  • i watched acouple of her other MMA fights she just destroys everyone 19 wins 0 losses i think, shes definatly pound for pound best

  • Pull guard on me, baby

    Uh

  • Nice

    me likes nips gettin' hurt

  • dont be an idiot like me and try to pull x guard fighting an intoxicated associate... yeah....

  • well when its 1 on 1 and u know its 1 on 1 then the x gurad. juistu is the best 4 a 1 on 1 fight.

  • This would go MUCH differently if this was MMA.

Megumi is pound for pound best.

  • i'd like to see a rematch

  • I love her, boring are you nuts?

  • the gracie fight style is boring

  • Boring but effective.

  • @belizlinhares

Yeah, except try pulling guard like that on cement.

  • That's why BJJ is divided into Competition JJ, MMA and Self Defense, it doesn't mean that a technique that is efective in a category will be useful in the other.

  • Its only boring to people that dont understand whats going on... If you knew more about Jujitsu or one of its branches you would respect it more =)

  • @GuamKomudo yea i hate it when the crowd boos when you are locked up on the ground like you said they dont understand

  • @GuamKomudo if you say so. turtling in closed guard is boring no matter how cute the person doing it is.

  • It's not boring. It might be the smartest thing to do at that point...

  • @GuamKomudo it can be boring and smart at the same time. I mean it worked out for Kyra, so props to her. I just hate watching that kind of stalemate because nothing can come out of it till the person on bottom opens up.

  • @GuamKomudo False, it's still boring to people who know what's going on.

  • @GuamKomudo i did a bit of BBJ and i understand it.

  • @GuamKomudo that's a good point, but you miss the more important point that we're watching two chicks wrestling. If the people calling this boring are straight males then they should be ashamed.

  • The actual point is that I have the only woman I want in the world and she just drove home after spending all day with me. You should stop treating these EXTREMELY talented Jujitsuists like porn stars and at least give them the respect that everyone as human beings deserve.

  • @GuamKomudo I was being completely facetious.

  • @GuamKomudo Hahahahahahhahhahahahahahahah grow a pair

  • @GuamKomudo Thankyou for being intelligent and thoughtful. ;)

  • @GuamKomudo i don't get what your girl driving home has to do with anything?

  • is boring if ur not the one using it

  • Weight does not equal strength. There are too many examples of lighter people being much stronger than heavier people to get into. Also Megumi's legs are shorter thicker and stockier than Kyra's so using your idea Megumi would have the supposed advantage in leverage and apparent strength. There was no adv for Kyra and for anyone following the UFC's, Abu Dhabi's and Mundials it is easy to note that the Gracies are just good at what they do, they aren't fighting with any special advantages.

  • How does a weight advantage help someone when they are on their back? It doesn't.

  • .... If you weigh more, it's more weight you have to move around, which means you have more inherent physical strength, especially in the legs, especially for women.

  • Look up what they weighed in at for that competition. They were VERY close in weight. Besides that, Marcelo Garcia at a 140lbs submitted Ricco Rodriguez who was every bit of 300lbs at Abu Dhabi. The better person won, it's really that simple. The comments of Gracies always having an advantage make no sense to anyone who watched the early UFC's or any of the seemingly endless recorded "back alley fights". Royce fought at 165lbs (and lighter) against guys 100lbs heavier. Advantage? Skill.

  • I've never seen the early UFC's, what I have seen are the current generation of Gracie's and every fight I've personally seen the Gracie had a weight, reach, or age advantage. I'm not saying they still aren't good fighters, I'm just saying that's how shit turned out from what I personally saw. Stop making my comment out to be something it isn't. I already agreed with you that the better fighter won here, so get off it.

  • Jeeze the conspiracy theories never end. They were in the same weight class, the better person won that day regardless of last name.

  • Dude same weight class can have a range of 30 pound difference, and someone who is even just 20 pounds more than you can throw you around with ease. I'm not saying the Gracie isn't a good grappler, it's obvious that isn't the case, I'm just saying she also had a weight advantage, and that I've notice that everyone match I've ever seen a Gracie in, they had some kind of advantage over the other person. I'm not saying it's a conspiracy, just coincidence. Stop being so presumptuous.

  • I've also noticed my grammar in that comment was atrocious. ;_;

  • Kyra very often competes against women a lot heavier than her. At the last mundials she fought Lena Stefanec who`s around 170 lb

  • I'm not saying she always fights with and advantage, has never fought at a disadvantage, or can't win without an advantage, I'm just saying that right here it looked like she had a weight advantage and easily a reach advantage over her opponent, although reach doesn't matter much in strict wrestling.

  • yeah they do. they never compete fairly. not once. none of them, from royce to roger. they fight weak, fat , old, slow, hasbeen fighters once every 3 years. have you ever actually sat and watched one of ricksons fights? most amateurs could beat those guys.

  • @matwizard I have to agree that Rickson has tended to fight opponents that were no match for him. Maybe he agrees with Sun Tzu: Don't fight a battle that you can't win...

  • royce gracies daughter or what?

  • megumi's ranked #1 in the world. but a gracie's a gracie.

  • Comment removed

  • just like a gracie- she didnt even check on her opponent after the tap. great grapplers, low class people

  • word.. so true

  • Seriously??? Fujii breaks opponents feet while they are tapping and she doesn't check on them.

Give me a break! You know when you have hyperextended someone with an armbar- especially if you are a blackbelt.

  • i really dont know much about fujii- but if you could find it, please send the link to the video of her doing that. anyway you can pop the elbow easily with an armbar from triangle (had mine popped last saturday) and that looks like what gracie did- and thats fine, but dont be a dick and immedietly start celebrating before checking on your opponent, this isnt fighting- its grappling

  • Check out the related video under "Broken Foot - Ninja Girl (Women's MMA)".

Have you had negative personal experiences with Gracies or is this based on some observations you made? My kids and I have all had great experiences with the Gracie family. They are always taking time in classes to ensure that everyone understands what harm can be done and to respect your opponent....who do you have issue with?

  • i saw that mma bout a while ago- the difference is that this is a grappling match, that was a bout. fights are more "kill or be killed" than grappling matches, so you attack until the ref stops stops the fight, so no harm there. As for the gracies I remember renzo choking a guy out in brazil and then rubbing his unconsious face in concrete, I remember royce slapping a guy in the face on the beach just because he knew that he would win if a fight broke out... the list goes on, low class people

  • and these events, on concrete and on the beach, were "grappling matches"? I have never been to a match, naga or otherwise, on concrete...

Like I said: Have you had negative personal experiences with Gracies?

  • I did'nt say that they were low class people on when they are on the mat, i said they were low class people people. but if you need specific examples in matches, you can check out renzo at the end of this video

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu vs. Judo - Renzo Gracie (2 of 2)

gracie "class" at its best. And no, i havent had any personal experience with the gracies, just heard the stories and saw the videos, then again, I've never meet Hitler either, mabye they are all nice once you get to know them

  • Theres about 250 gracies around, are you saying all of them are the same? If so you`re as retarded as you sound.
