Lots of fun......I'd love playing Bluegrass on the back porch with ya'll.
Question: I had a guy once tell me not to "whackadoo, whackadoo, whackadoo, (up down strummin like the guitar) on the mando........I hear some of that in this clip......was it unconscious, or is it "ok" to whackadoo, whackadoo, whackadoo?
Thanks . I have to say as a mandolin player I love the key of A. Also like the key of D because you can really do alot with those and the open strings. We all learn alot from our young fiddle player Tess. Cherokee Schuffle is a song that she introduced to our group and it is alot of fun to play.
I like your version of this tune -- I play it in similar fashion but I wish I had seen your version first -- I like the way you use the open strings go more constant wall of sound out of the mandolin.
3 guitars and zero bass. Would be better with 2 guitars and one bass. Needs some bottom.
