@japornip Watch this whole entire series of performance. They didn't tell you in the title or the description but this dance group comes from Taiwan. They're highly trained artists, not simply performers. This caliber of artists would be hard to find in China today.

@japornip Purely on a factual level, China doesn't have much culture today because the communists destroyed most of it. Taiwanese are open-minded when it comes to world culture. However, Taiwan is also a traditional society. For one, we still write in traditional Han language. Take a look at the videos below and tell me if you see this in China today.

I've been an exchange student in Tawan for one year and travelled all over this amazing island. It's a fantastic experience to taste a bit of their culture, try their cusine, meet the people over there and explore the beautiful nature this island has..I mean go to Lanyu once in a lifetime to watch the sunrise, you will be a different man afterwards.....Living in Taipei is also great! ;) Keep your spirit up: TAIWAN UP!!!

It is a part of China, mind that the actual name of Taiwan still is "Republic of China" - it is not a part of the People's Republic of China, that's what you mean to say I think. "China" consists of two states, the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the People's Republic of China (most commonly refered as "China").
