Well, I still has this game, unfortunately the Solarian CD had broken 3 years ago. After that I manage to wrote all remains into my hard drive to avoid the same fate. so now I have only setup, Shinari and Kra' hen CD operational.
Anyway, the game is interesting, since the campaign is random, so you can't expect the same quests to pop up at the same time in every playthrough.
Sadly that I can't find anyone playing this game online. AI are too predictable at war and diplomacy though..
@weldonwin in term of gameplay, their unit can't fit as many guns as others (looks and compare the Autodesign of ships). one on one in battle, they'll lose.
So They make up for it by have double sucess rate of spies to sabotage others efforts. Get double income from NPCs merchants (but in multi play against human player's Kra'hen, they'll try to shot all traders down to prevent other races from this advantage).oh and that ship-manipulator to control enemy ships is quite nasty too.
@agt334 Nexus - The Jupiter Incident. That is tha game you seek for. In the begining it was called Imperium Galactica 3 - Genesis. Later it turned to Armada. Then the whole company ( Digital Reality ) was bought by another one. And they cancelled everything about Imperium Galactica. But since the playable DEMO was allready finnished and most of the game, they didn't cancelled it, but changet it's name. Ther will be no more Imperium Galactica. :(
I love this game. I was 12when i get it and this is my favourite until know. My favourite race is Shinari. I think they have the best battleship: 3 cannon pod and one of them is shipmanipulator or al three :P. The Kra'hens have no chance:)
Lawl , just get like 15 spies with 20+ infiltration (ignore other skills) , and make them cause revolts (dunno how they called in english) to all their planets , if you can , also try to assasinate their leader.
