This looks like a really wellmade drama but I couldn't bear to watch it. He was one of the sickest old perverts who ever lived - the actor who plays him isn't nearly ugly enough. Its a shame they couldn't have dug up old Steptoe and cast him instead.

He told the mother he had a neice Grace's age who was having a birthday party that day. The mother let grace go. He was there at the house because the son responded to an add in the paper for some work I believe.

He was easy to trust until you saw the darker side to him. Even Detective Will King had his doubts when he found him after six years of searching. This film is really hard to watch because the subject matter is so upsetting. Whilst Albert Fish (The Gray Man) was the vilest specimen of humanity, I found myself alo blaing the little girls parents fo allowing a man they didnt know to take their daughter for a day out, simply because they were benefitting financially.

Excellent film, but heartbreaking subject :(
