This is the first I ever heard of this person. What Genre is this? Is he Latino or Middle Eastern Indian or what?? Carmensita was very strange, it was the first video I ever saw with India type dancers, etc. I couldn't figure out if it was middle eastern music, or Mexican music, since I don't speak either language, and it sounded Mexican to me. .I guess I have to listen to more videos and see what type of music this is.

on second listen actually everything. percussion, guitar, tone, style, chorus, era, even subdued vocals. the only thing that doesnt is the backing vocals. im a big fan of both bands. devendra has been working with a member of the strokes recently, it shows.
