Well, it's possible that he's a "privileged" citizen. An average North Korean citizen would not even have electricity, or even a battery-operated alarm clock so assumingly he's one of the people in the higher social strata.
But then, on the funny side, the directors probably hired the fat guy because he'd look funny without his clothes on! JK
True.. the writing they showed during the parade isn't real Korean writing, either. Most people wouldn't notice since it's a western advertisement anyway. They're just trying to get their point across in a humorous way. In this case, they're using North Korean who's about to be killed cuz he didn't show up for the parade and made Kim Il-sung's picture look ugly. But he doesn't care if he dies cuz he has insurance. Haha. Get it now? :)
Hey, thanks, I couldn't figure out what they were trying to sell! ~some of those parade shots may be from real clips, or do you think they'd hire all those people to make a commercial?
lol I doubt it's from a real clip. The "symbols" the people made with those poster board things isn't real Korean, either. Probably just a camera trick or something.. But I'm still fascinated by how they imitated a North Korean parade. That's exactly how it looks in real life. Scary, huh? :P

Actually, the producer asked for permission Pyongyang regime to broadcast this video.
North Korean Gov. replied "The content is no related to our country. Don't ask us such matters."
It's funny.

Some of them are real clips; you can see the footage in a commercial for smart (the car company)!
