  • I had no idea that half of this movie was digitally edited

  • don't believe, this movie its so perfect.and think that is computing movements leaves we so impressed.this is the coolest movie of all, I loved since vi.ate now I cry and get emotional.

  • Why is that voice over at 09:19 speaking as if he is asking if its true?

  • thats really interesting that they literally inserted their characters into history

  • 5:50 digital

  • good job..

  • This was made in the late 1990's but you would have thought that it was made just this year. This film is the best use of technology ever.

  • @Agne19921 Um, I'd think that would be LotR trilogy but yes, this gets 2nd place

  • i ts good

  • @PrettyTiaF haha watch it and you'll see

  • I've watched this movie well over 20 times, and I still love it the same as I did when I saw it the first.

  • @Madd3rz I've watched it well over 20 times in like the past month, hahaha. It's such a beautiful amazing movie. It will never get old.

  • I wish JP Morgan would have been on that ship, fuck Chase Bank and their overdraft fines

  • even after seeing the tricks, when i watch the movie i can't convince myself that its computer graphics!

  • @asserkhattab1 It was filmed in special interiors or exteriors in days, not at night... There was a smal model and a big model in a very big container with water - 6:47. The ship was a building, the sea was added after - 9:24. I saw pictures at back-to-titanic com

  • @satninka I meant that the tricks were so good that u cant point them out in the movie even after seeing these videos

  • mann, compare Titanic 2 with this :)) Titanic 2 is such a FAILLL!!

  • @deiu9999 what the heck is titanic 2 about???? :0

  • Cameron did a good job! this is a god given film

  • why dont they keep the full scale model and make a titanic II?

  • April 14, 2012-100 years since Titanic went down

and to re-release it in 3D, its a great birthday gift for Titanic

    RIP

  • God Im Jonesin for the re-release of Titanic in 2012

  • ive never even heard of this movie,,, I thought Titanic was the airplane that Amelia Earhart got lost in,,, I guess nobody did their homework who made this...

  • @flycentro123 Seriously?

  • This would be a filmmakers paradise.

  • Genius!

  • Cameron made Titanic back alive.

  • @Harmonyww, you have SERIOUS problems. Like honestly this movie is amazing. You just don't know how to appreciate things WELL done.....

  • when i watch the movie i though it was really record on real world i though they use real Titanic Ship, What a great effects it make me :D its cool :D

  • I like the titanic model

  • love the theme song of titanic

  • i didn't understand nothing they were saying...my brain exploded lmao

  • So most of the film was shot on a green screen? Huh, who knew?

    This is very interesting :)

  • @StarsPrincess78

A lot was done for real though, it's sort a blend of every type of technique.

  • This movie is a digitalgasm.

  • after this film, Leo chose mature characters that turned him into a more serious actor as opposed to a high school sweet heart's perfect man

  • Kate is more gorgeous.

  • osm.....<3

  • They did such a good job, it doesn't even seem like they used all that editing. EPIC!

  • @Moviesobsessed97 I know right, it looks like a real ship, really in water, and its amazzingggg

  • I can't hear it

  • I learned a lot watching the making of Titanic! Thanks for uploading and for the amazing work of James Cameron

  • IS MINIATURE...

  • there is actually a movie called titanic 2 but it has nothing to do with this movie.

  • If there was anything positive to be taken out of the sinking of the great ship then its the fact that James Cameron and his cast and crew made a great film and tribute. R.I.P Not just everyone who died that day, but everyone who survived and passed on now.

  • *then

  • I love this movie but it's really weird to watch this than the movie

  • theres now Titanic 2,Leonardo Dicaprio plays a corpse in the sea

  • @SuperKilluminati1986 noo there isn't. your dumb

  • After watching this, I watched the movie, and it made it seem really weird.

  • they're amazing :)

  • i wish they would remake the ship!

  • waching this stuff kinda takes away from the beauty of the movie

  • @aMUSICALdrug for me it actually adds to the movie. I always thought Titanic is cheesy (and it probably is for many people) but the sheer amount of work and background that went into it makes it up for me and it's the thing that I find beautiful

  • cameron always was great effects in his films

  • Am I heartless if I'm a girl and I didn't cry? :( Of course I was very sad, but I didn't cry :(

  • @kagesmagergodt1000 omg du en dansker er du ikke!

  • @JAK2298 OMG OG OMG, JOOOOOOO :P

  • @kagesmagergodt1000 OMG! det er jeg også LOL

  • @kagesmagergodt1000 I don't think so. I mean, some people just aren't as sensitive as others. Of course, I'm extremely sensitive so I cried A LOT lol.

  • leo <3

  • this is very genius... fantastic..

  • if it was 1912 and the Titanic was sinking and james cameron was on it, he wld want 1 life boat to him self and 1 for his luggage

  • James cameron " your all fantastic, jst dont speak to me or ask for my autograph or come near me" (LOL)

Oh and if your pennless and struggling , even if you are the last survivor on the titanic, I wont give you a cent of my multi billion dollar fortune..

N you wonder why people down load for free

  • superb cameron

  • Did you know that the movie itself was a lot more expensive that the ship itself thumbs up if you agree

  • This is so Epic. <3

  • well they did a heck of a good job making the shots realistic :)

  • Don't get me wrong, I frickin' LOVE this movie and it made me cry a grand total of three times:

    1. When Rose jumps out of the lifeboat back onto the ship and runs to jack

    2. When the captain dies and when Andrew dies (although you don't actually see it)

    3. When Rose pushes Jacks corpse into the water and you see him sinking into the water ='(

Anyway, don't get me wrong, I love this film but it's not as emotional as The Green Mile. I was crying at the TRAILER of that.

  • all hail the power of computers.

  • @lugiamcg all hail the glory of the 1990s. :)

  • how much time it take to render te movie 3 years??

  • I visited the studio site where they made part of titanic <3

  • Leonardio dicaprio is so fucking hot <3

  • Man, i love special effects

  • just got cooler

  • cameron genius

  • wow i never knew that modern technology can make everything look so real when i watched the movie it all looked so real i knew it was not real that it was just a movie but i thought that made it in a real ocean!

  • @Harmonyww Get away from me.

  • LMFAO Why does Jon Landau always talk like a poet?

  • i miss that old luxury.....im acting like i lived during that time! but i wish

  • i cry on the inside and my eyes water up whenever i watch the movie or listen to music associated with it

  • i wish i coulda been saved by jack :0)

  • i've watched this movie about 100 times and i still cry when i see it :p

  • @girlicious1212

    Same here.

  • @girlicious1212 well same here...i love this movie,really:)

  • yeah idk why i never saw it before..like i've watched the very ending about 5 times..but i never saw the whole thing :\

  • i watched the whole thing for the very first time today..i can't even describe how much i cried

  • @chihuahualuv3r43v3r

This was your first time watching Titanic?

  • omg can you just imagine how long did they built everything in this movie..hah..it's awesome..

  • James Cameroon is a genius no! simple as :)

  • I first watched Titantic when I was ten. Now I'm fourteen, and I wanna watch it again :)

  • Watched this movie when i was 9, and its been my favorite movie ever since. nothing has yet to top it for me.

  • titanic is soo fuckin epic.. its a movie you can watch more than 100x and still love it

  • i know a guy, who has never seen titanic. OMG !!! :O

  • Can you imagine what coming to work felt like for the filmmakers and builders? Amazing

  • i will never get tried of this movie. i dont care what people say about it such great movie.

  • This film inspired me to go into Filmmaking!

  • R.I.P Gloria. 100 years old, you matched Rose's age. Amazing. You were fantastic!

  • @MissRnR well technically she was 101 in the movie, but yes, it's still amazing how close her death was to Rose's.

  • @MissRnR omg when did she pass away?

  • @MissRnR Yeah, Gloria Stuart also died in her sleep like 100 year-old Rose Dawson..

  • did they really build Titanic again just for the movie? I love this movie it's my favourite! and will be 4ever! Leo is so freaking hot..! l felt in love with him..!

  • I am so glad they chose Kate Winslet for the part of Rose rather than Claire Danes. Danes would have crucially affected the movie for the worse.

Kate and Leo all the way.

  • Awesome...

  • that shot at 08:51 is fake, which means they have added some effects in this so called making of titanic. effects within effects, I do not buy it.

  • RIP Gloria. You were a great Rose. <3

  • gloria stuart is dead. rip

  • @ZildjianL4D2 Nooooo :p

  • I want to marry Rose Dewitt Bukater.

  • @Alexophy hahaha. winslet or dewitt bukater?

  • @cuterainbowsock101 dewitt bukater :D

  • @Alexophy I want to marry Caledon Hockley. See, if you and I would have been on the Titanic, things would have ended peacefully. XD

  • @JennaLovesVitas haha, awesome :D

  • @JennaLovesVitas lol good decision

  • lol "like walking up to a horse"

  • whos the guy in suit at engine room

  • Leo is gorgeous.

  • @ohhthatemily He's STILL gorgeous~!

  • @ohhthatemily And prefers girls who take it up the pooper!

  • @arthurkitchen lmfao what

  • @ohhthatemily

Lol hes all ugly now. Strutting Leo FTW

  • @ohhthatemily i cant believe they made him die!!! >:O

  • @ohhthatemily no he isnt he is a beautifully sculptured man hahah

  • Omg this movie must of took forever to make but was definately worth it

  • What is the name of camera which avoids or cancels green background?

  • Digitally

  • OMG! I did knew they had to do a lot of work to actually portray those characters on the deck of Titanic...That was way to brilliant by those all the people who worked hard to produce such a master piece...

  • I wonder what is the faint shadow that fly across the ship from 9:10 to 9:29?

  • @ocseong818 I think it may be the shadow of clouds or steam/smoke?

  • @porpierita Personally don't think cloud shadow move that fast, and they added the steam/smoke later with computer graphic, plus the scene was to depict the ship at the middle ocean. So what was that?

  • @ocseong818 Perhaps they fast-forwarded it? Or it could just be a side-effect of some other computer graphics work? I'm really not sure. Try checking out the Goofs page on IMDB or something, perhaps that'll help ;)

  • everytime i watch dis movie..its like i'm watching it for the first time..the emotions are always strong nd i always get teary at the end...sometimes i wish i could of been on the titanic.....dis is truly a remarkable story nd movie...RIP to all the lives that were lost ):

  • I am watcing it now :) aha , they should make a Numebr 2 !

  • George Lucas should be watching this to learn how to do special effects .

  • celine's song in the background is heartbreaking. its so beautiful its perfect for this movie.

    love titanic.

  • My god I was starting to get into this and was like wow this is all so cool; but in a way it's kind of ruining the movie now. And I have been wanting to watch it again.

  • @1DanielChristensen I won`t ruin it, I`ve seen this and then watched the movie again. The movie is so well done that you forget how it was shot and made and you are immediately drawn in without even knowing it. I can`t stop watching it

  • i agree with @1997TeamEdward . i know that today we've learned, but if i were on the board i would definitely have thought of more lifeboats. worst case scenarios HAD to have been played out, people just never gave them a second thought. i so wish i could have been there and said a WHOLE fuckin speech to the board. the guy who vetoed the lifeboats must have felt like shit. yeah? ghejkshgjke. ughhh. i have so many complaints about this tragedy.. but i love the movieee!! :)

  • i love this its so sad. tear

  • i love it! they were so amazing!

look at " 01:20 " untill " 02:37 " Its very2 good! how do they make it so real?

  • haha i love when leo says "sir" too early (:

  • Their compositors and editors are superb!

  • I loove how in the background like in 0:57 you hear the song "rose" in the background :)

  • ive been watching titanic alot of times it was so awesome, yet so sad on that night

  • Rae Sanchini is one scary woman. lol.

Thank god for Titanic and its groundbreaking use of mo-cap.

  • so many people died that day! and in such a tragic way! but what idiidots! ots the people who made th ship were! they would of needed 40 more life boats to get all of the people off safely, not to mention that they really did only load the life boats halfway full! what idiots! may all of the people who died rest in peace! and the ones who lived, there stories will never be forgotten!

    <3lucy

  • i cant belive katestood on the outside ofthe railing that far up...ahaha

  • Jim can sometimes be a nickname for James like Dick is for Richard and so on.

  • The Jon Landau or whatever guy keeps on calling James Cameron, Jim lol !!!

  • Why do they call him jim? the directors name is james right?

  • Jim is short for James :)

  • The music for this film fits soooooooo damn good!!!!

  • @TheKonrad1984 i totally agree i got the sound track as soon as it came out. i just love the music in this movie!!!

  • 1:18

  • NOTHING KICKS MORE ASS THAN THOSE RECIPROCATING PISTON ENGINES... MAN THOSE ARE AWESOME ....How the hell is this a chick flick with such amazing mechanical and disaster scenes in it??? This is definitely the perfect movie for both men and women

  • @MissJaneClarke Hmm, really? How long ago did you first see it? I saw it 5 times when it was in theaters, collected a huge amount of memorabilia relating to the movie and the ship herself, own both the VHS, the first edition DVD and the 3 disc collectors DVD. I know the movie backwards and forwards, including have memorized each line. I own both soundtracks, as well as an official copy of the screenplay. Yep. I've watched it for the past 13 years. Any way you can top that?

  • just hearing the music makes me cry

  • and thanks to u too , u sucssfully destroied every freaking beautifull meaning that song and movie has!! by that amzing comment

    good keep going

  • @Mr.SuckUp: You need one of those new- fangled Stuff Ur Balls koozie ; or more commonly called: The Toilet Bowl Splash Slicker. Its all the rage. Use it in different ways too, i.e. load em up in the koozie for optimum lift and separation with a slightly squeezing/massaging effect (<--- the really old geezers like this example!) Also an emo favorite: "pop one in, pop one out". Apparently there's an insertable razor lining—ouchie! Oh, the possibilities -- Just let your imagination run WILD!
