@johnlouisville Interesting comparison... I have to agree they are at the top of their respective sub-genres, i.e. this Brahms piece is one of the greatest ever chamber pieces, while Beethoven's 9th is one of the greatest ever symphonic pieces... Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment (interestingly, I notice Louisville in your username as I write this from Lexington)...
