on new egg just for an extra 300 dollars from bb version you get a 2.5 cpu 1920x1080 screen and bluttoth. This is on best buys and for just an extra 300 better res only diffrent the model on the vid is you dont hav the backpack,mouse, and those pc knuchucks.

I read that this laptop comes with an underclocked 260m by asus because of heat problems. Have you checked your gpu clocks? Also what gpu clocks do you get when using Extreme Turbo mode with the asus OC software? What temperatures are you getting when gaming? Thanks,

Response to vpsaline: Asus resolved the heating issue with a BIOS update about two months after its release. Not sure about the GTX260M being underclocked after the BIOS update. From the reviews I have read, the G51VX doesn't have any problems with playing the latest games, albeit some settings do have to be turned down when playing at higher resolutions. And I believe the Turbo mode is specific to the overclocking just the CPU @ 2.15Ghz. I'll know more when mine comes in tomorrow - w00t!.

This could have been funny as shit if he opened the box and it was like just a warranty sheet in a big box with some weights in it to make it seem like 7.2 pounds or however much the g51 weighs. I want to get this laptop. But it will take me 3 months almost lol. Just a year ago my dv5t with a 9600m GT was nice. Now I want to get this. I like asus anyway, I use their motherboards for desktops whenever I get the chance...
