This is the Peasall Sisters -- from left, Hannah, Leah and Sarah. They auditioned for O Brother Where Art Thou? in 1999, and released albums in 2002 and 2005 (produced by John Carter Cash, son of Johnny and June). They began singing together at their grandmother's church in Florida when littlest sister Leah was just four. This Gaither Homecoming video recording, from Church in the Wildwood, was released in 2005.

to the Lord" meant, (instead of for an audience).

i LOVE THIS SONG. It reminds me of my mother. In 1961 or 2 she had a baby ( my older brother) who died at 3 days old. They found out 6 months after he died that what they used to induce her labor killed him.Although She never got over his death she said singing this song helped her thru the darkest days. When i hear this song I think of her and miss he greatly. She died on his birthday in 1995.
