Well I'm 14 and I'm not from Janis's time obviously...but I went to go see Big Brother and the Holding Company last month with Cathy Richardson as the singer and she's great!! I have to go see this show!!!! Love, Janis was a great book and I need to see the play. I will probably cry!! I hope its comming near RI.

i saw the show with cathy richardson in it ..when they were in nyc ..and let me tell u ..SHE IS JANIS JOPLIN..if you are a fan you will feel her vibe in every song she sings...i loved it..went to see it more than 15 times.

I got to see her sing at the 40th Anniversary of the Summer of Love at Golden Gate Park and Monterey, this lady can BELT! Cathy your are GREAT, long live the music of an american pop icon Janis!
