  • ahhh the same engine that is in my 1996 buick park avenue!!! lmao

  • i hate the back fire on my camaro it sounds like crap

  • oooh man love that sound

  • can someone give me the series number to the 40 series delta flowmaster wit 1 inlet and dual outlets i would appreciated alot

  • @adolfo217ifly 2.25" dual out #8430422

  • Yep yep, no hard feelings though

  • ok, i rechecked and i admit i was wrong. sorry about that. you must have the delta series.

  • Are you stupid boy? The 40 has single in and dual out as well. And I never rewrote any of your down syndrome babble, I merely quoted you.

  • @EliteShadowMB first off, your a complete idiot... go to flowmasters website and look up the 40 series and you'll clearly see a dual outlet model. Second, you do not know how to read cause nowhere have i ever said it's a true dual exhaust, it's only a dual outlet muffler

  • @oakleycustom i don't see why not

  • i wonder if this would work on my 95 regal with the 3.8 v6?

  • IF YOU WANT a more throaty sound throw MagnaFlow catylac converter's on there with your flowmaster exhuast it wont have that ricer pitch until Rpms get real High.

  • @zanrath12345 yea i've been thinking about a hi flow cat, maybe one day

  • @golfproeric :D Thats What I'm Doing When I get My Sweet baby

  • @golfproeric they are only like 50 bucks on ebay.

  • sounds good! you should check out my 3.8 with magnaflow duals.

  • Thanks xero

  • Nice sound. I love though hearing all these kid's or real unqualified and inexperienced adults talk about smaller engines not making the power or the speed. Its sad that they can not wrap their heads around some shit bigger is not always better. its power to weight ration among other things. Just bc I have a V10 engine does not mean I will spank a V8. Also think about fuel consumption on a street rod. Maybe its an everyday driver for him ect. It is just funny that people talk before they think.

  • and no u wont beat me with that piece. i got a 96 buick park ave ultra. supercharged with a 2.75 pulley flowmaster headers and full exhaust. and a cold air to the bottom of the bumper. so no my friend i know u wont win fag

    212

  • what all did you do to it from stock? Just exhaust or more?

  • @jordan2921 it's all stock... just changed the muffler

  • guaranteed you put a grand national (v6) up against a camaro with a v8 the grand national would win everytime

  • Comment removed

  • @Vyssockdude1 your stoned man. A stock Grand National in GOOD condition may crack off a 13 in the 1/4 mile. I've seen a BONE stock 02 SS run a 12.8 with slicks.

  • @FiredUpZ28 I dont think so, a stock gn runs low 13, the best ive seen a ls1 run stock was a high 13. And yea maybe it could get to low 13's with slicks. Now knowing what we both know about chevy's, a grand national beat a SUPERCHARGED z06. which is faster a stock camaro or a z06. Dont be stupid.

  • @Vyssockdude1 If you are watching Motor Trend or Motor Week to get the times that an LS1 runs, you're way off. A stock LS1 has 350HP, and can hit low 13's on average. Slicks will put it into the high 12's.

  • @Quatermain98526 Ok thats one person, im just saying theres proof of many gn's beating ls1 platforms, nothing against them i have a ls2 in my g body, but idk low 12s on a stock camaro, pushing it

  • I also have the link to a website of a guy admitting his supercharged z06 got "spanked" by a grand national. And it was two girl;s driving the car.

  • @toronjillo2 it's a start lol

  • you should super charge that bitch!!!!

  • @toronjillo2 if you wanna buy it for me i will lol

  • @golfproeric ill give you 50 bucks for it lmaol

  • six cylinders are not faster than the v8s stupid ass mother fuckers

  • @88kornhead lol i agree

  • @88kornhead depends on what six cylinder your talking about

  • Comment removed

  • @88kornhead tell that to the GNX owners, numb nuts!

  • @88kornhead bullshit, my 2000 V6 will spank an '85 305 all day long :-P

  • Comment removed

  • @94CamaroMan Lol, royal purple oil is a modification? LOL. The LS1 makes 350HP and 385 lb/ft of torque in stock form.

  • Comment removed

  • @94CamaroMan your an idiot

  • @DAN4279 it's not supercharged

  • That's possible, gotta get it out of storage first though

  • Sounds sick bro. Would love to here how it sounds taking off/in-cabin. Please? XD

  • it was right around $300

  • I have the same Camaro but mine is orange, how much did this cost? I'm trying to find pipes for mine

  • hey bro what you got on your cam?

  • @cobraswat818 no cam, all stock

  • exaust sounds goog but my camaros way cleana

  • yep I still am, its just in storage for the winter but I can't wait for the spring to come

  • Sounds really nice! Hopefully, you're still enjoying the car.

  • No it's all stock up to the muffler

  • I like it, sounds good. is it an X pipe?

  • I think it sounds better than stock, but its all about how you like the sound of it

  • im about to buy one of these, and its a v6 same year with dual exhaust add on. does that mean it will sound better than stock since the guy added dual??

  • @10jmsoccer yah and is it true duel exhaust? bot a stuped y-pype

  • There's not much you can do..... a turbo is the only thing I've seen that gets rid of it, but that's expensive just to fix that sound

  • @golfproeric you dont need a turbo, your using an open chamber muffler which causes that raspy noise, get headers and a better muffler and problem solved, definetly a cold air intake too those help cuz of the additional power. look at some videos with borla xr1 mufflers

  • @golfproeric

that would actually fix a lot of things....

  • i hate that sound you got wen you punched the gas there, my 3.8 has the same sound how can i get rid of that?

  • just the muffler and no cai

  • Did you install a whole new exhaust or just muffler? I have an 01' 3.8 Camaro and am thinking about just switching up mufflers for better sound. And do you have cold-air intake on it?

  • Did you install a whole new exhaust or just muffler? I have an 01' 3.8 Camaro and am thinking about just switching up mufflers for better sound. And do you have cold-air intake on it?

  • sounds good but i hate how the camera makes it sound weird when the rpms drop. in person it doesn't sound like that. i have magna flows on my v6.

  • has a right burble to it.

  • can you tell me the website were you bought this exhaust? this is exactley what im looking for.. thank you

  • @MetalMusic978 i didn't buy it online, bought the muffler from a local muffler shop

  • Check out my exhaust, I have custom made log-type headers and equal length secondaries, 3" turbo-back exhaust, dual Magnaflow XL3's. The rest of my videos are posted by Nikolay184.

  • like the idle and up to like 1.5 grand but then it doesn't sound that great...

  • So you got a s40 muffler with 2 out?

  • Close but no cigar buddy, she's Navy Blue Metallic

  • Purple Camaros FTW

  • You could but it'll just be engine noise

  • hey my friend and i both have 99 monte carlo z34's i have an exhaust sytem but he realy dosent have the money for it he is wondering if he just cut off the two mufflers and put tips on the pipes would it sound better???

  • @dtrip09, I had a 98 monte carlo z34 and i cut the mufflers off and put flowmaster tips on it and it sounded pretty good.

  • is it single muffler or duel and do u have catalytic converter on it?

  • it's a single muffler, a crossflow one with two outlets. there is a cat on there, just the stock one.

  • and to the OP, great tone at idle...and i friggin' love those tips!

  • ehhh i like em at first but they stuck out too far and they were a rolled edge... watch my new vid where i changed the tips.. they're 100x better!!

  • the reason why i say that is that my v6 camaro is way louder

  • do you have a catalytic converter on your car?

  • yeah i have the a magnaflow cat on it

  • are you sure that's the 40 series you can barely hear it

  • yea man...firstly it's a v6 so there's not much to hear.. but check out my newest vid... better camera quality

  • yea no problem... you should put up a video once you get your system installed

  • oh ok...i get it now...thanks for helping me with that

  • yes.. when i first got it there was that turndown tip.. but that gets cut off with the whole mufffler when you get a new one installed, if you get a crossflow like mine with the dual outlets they're gonna weld or bolt on new outlet pipes... then it's your choice if you want tips installed or just the pipe sticking out

  • were the tailpipes on your car pointed down like mine? im not looking to buy a whole exhaust kit i just want to buy the muffler and tips but im confused on how the tips will go onto a tailpipe that is pointed down

  • you can buy complete setups with the tips, i just bought the muffler seperate and picked out the tips i wanted.. in this video i have rolled tips and in my new video i swapped out the rolled tips for 45 degree tips... i think the tips were about $30 a piece

  • yea i have the stock muffler on now but im getting a flowmaster muffler on it...do the tailpipes come with the muffler? if not how do i get them? i appreciate your help.

  • Well is your car's stock muffler still on? I just took my car to a muffler shop and they installed the muffler the way you see it.

  • how did u get those 3 inch tailpipes on? the tailpipes on my 99 camaro are pointed down..im lookin to get ones like urs just cant find them anywhere.

  • It's funny how almost every single one of you will bash a V6 Camaro's exhaust note and then go and praise a Grand Prix GTP's exhaust note. Same damn engine and you think it sounds better?

  • The GTP is blown and a camaro aint, without boost it sounds gay

  • sounds like a ricer, but thats what im lookin for in my camaro, i was lookin at the 40 series today wanted to read up on it some watchin this i plan on buying it tomorrow.

  • well... it looks great. sounds good at low rpms. i wouold try not to rev it too much lol.

  • idkw but all the 3.8's like this and my mustang would sound like rice with that setup

  • ok look fella's i got a 1999 Ls1 trans am, and i just resently purchased a 1997 v6 camaro, i put a cold air intake in it and dual exhausts, and an after market chi[ and raced my dad and totallt destroyed my old trans am so im sorry to say but some v6's are faster than v8's

  • wow thats more than bullshit lol is this the v6 pipe dreams?

  • @TheKrookid1 lol ya they are, what chip did you put in her?

  • @ridNrimZ he probably used Pringles BBQ flavor.

  • @TheKrookid1 ........man this has been a long time since you posted that but i cant believe that ... your saying from thoes 3 mods you got an easy 100 + hp.

sound to me like you day is either a terrible driver of he was fucking with you.

  • @TheKrookid1 oh your just being silly now. lol

  • @TheKrookid1 I know its an old comment but we dont need false information here do we ?

really , you beat an LS1 trans am with a bolt on V6 ? you dont deserve to own a car .. a V6 with intake exhaust and chip (which is probably a mail-order tune btw) wouldnt run under 15seconds in the 1/4 ..

    a stock LS1 does 13.5 so I call this BS .

  • @dt262 agreed!

  • @TheKrookid1 your dad cant drive ive own and built both v6s and v8s theres no comparison

  • @TheKrookid1 yeeeaaaaahhhhhh....riiiiight....

  • @TheKrookid1 Your 3.8 V6 that makes 200HP stock destroyed a 1999 Trans Am that makes 350HP? Yeah, someone is full of shit.

  • nope it's definately a 40 series

  • Btw that's an 80 series crossflow. The 40 series is single in single out

  • i thought you could get the 40 series in single in dual out?

  • You can yes.

  • you can purchase the 40 series with a dual outlet as well. check the flowmaster website

  • how does it sound at cruising speeds and starts? Is it too loud on the inside?

    nice camaro btw

  • ha thanks... no its not too loud, it has a nice cruising sound to it. theres a little drone but i like it for a v6. the start is always loud but i love that as well

  • no in my opinion a ricer is a 4 banger... theres some ridiculous v6's out there....

  • A ricer is when people take an economy car & try to make it look like it a fast car.

    $10 - muffler

    $2- Decals

    $30- Tail lights = Ricer

Taking a v6 and playing with the engine & exhaust is just good family fun. No ricer comments should be on this video.

  • Comment removed

  • there are also so rediculous 4 bangers out there, Chevy made the ecotec run 1400 hp, Thats pretty damn rediculous to me

  • Are you kidding...a mutated up V6 engine can totally beat a V8 stock LT1 if your talking sprint or circuit racing. A long distance drag however the V8 will have a higher top speed and torque to catch up and punch through.

  • Sorry to say... But my 3.8 V6 car will outrun a LT1 car... So your statement sucks and you need to rethink it... Ricer is more about sticker, coffee can mufflers, and fancy lights.

  • Comment removed

  • I would surely hope so lol. It's a V8 I'm hoping it would have more power... Why you talking down to a 3.8? It's one of the best V6 engines ever built...

  • Comment removed

  • That's because my 3.8 will outrun a stock LT1 all day lol. Sue me for being honest.

  • Comment removed

  • no it wont

  • no it wont, I walk full bolt on camaro 3.8's with my little cavy all day.

  • @04ecocav you runnin' low 13's in that Cavvy? niiiiice

  • i agree with that. its durable as hell too. i own a maro with a 3.8. its stock (until i come up with money to do mods) but i love the feel of it.

  • im pretty sure its just the original 40...if you put a muffler on you gotta put a vid up so i can hear that... im gonna try to get a cold start vid here soon for mine

  • I'll try to put to put a vid as soon as i get my new muffler installed on my camaro. I'm hoping to have a 40-series on it, kind of like the one you have of yours. If you can help me in locating a 40-series fitting your description of it you mentioned awhile back, I would appreciate it.

  • yea i can try but i bought mine from a local muffler installation shop... i didn't get it online

  • No, since its a crossflow there's an inlet on one side and an outlet on both sides... so you have and the inlet and one outlet on the same side

  • You made a good decision of putting a 40 series on that, sounds great! Is that the original Flowmaster 40 series or is it the 40 series with the delta-flow technology you had installed? I want to know because i have 2000 3.8 camaro and i was having a hard time deciding which Flowmaster muffler sounded better on it, other than the 80 series.

  • Does that muffler have a center inlet on one side and dual outlets on the other? I asked because that the 40 series with the center inlet and dual outlets is the only muffler i could find anywhere.

  • nice sound! about how much was all this? I have a '02 3.8 firebird and I have wanted to get an 80 or 40 series for a long time

  • i went to a muffler shop and they installed it with custom bent pipe, welding, and etc for $293..... basically $300

  • Thanks

  • Thanks for your help.

  • I know that's a 40 series muffler with a 2.5" single inlet and im guessing 3" dual outlets, but is that muffler transverse ( crossflow) mounted, like the 80, or mounted in a different way?

  • yea dual 3" outlets and it is crossflow

  • Where did you find that muffler and how much was it? reason is i can't find that kind of muffler you had installed anywhere.

  • ummm im not sure to tell ya the truth... i went to a muffler shop to get an 80 series and he ended up turning me to a 40 series he had in stock

  • Is that a American Thunder 40 series? If so, what is the size of the inlet and outlets?

  • no it's a flowmaster 40 series with a 2.5" inlet & 3" outlet

  • i dont understand why people say V6 exhausts suck, i mean ts not suppose to sound like a

v8 a v6 is going to sound like a 6 a 4 will sound like a 4 and an 8 wil be an 8 etc. so as for this v6 maros exhaust, its perfect, thats how a v6 should sound like, you get both 4 and 8 cyl sounds out of em at diff RPMs.

  • that's exactly what i say... it's no v8 but it sounds exactly how i want a v6 to sound

  • if want more of that 8 sound a CAI , headers, and cam should give it to you at idle but around 2200 rpms its guna give off that boom sound and after that itll get back up to the vroom sound youre looking for. i have a V6 and a V8 dodge magnum ive done the same exhaust as yours on my v6 magie and on my srt8 i did SLP L/M 1.

  • my muffler guy had them laying around and asked me if i wanted them on there... i'm not sure where he got them.

  • where'd you get your tail pipes?

  • yea its a 40... it sounded better than the 80 but i know its no v8. and the raspy noise is a prob with a ton of gm's car when you hit high rpms

  • noooooo wtf you got the raspy sound..did u put a 40 on a v6??
